It hangs high - it probably "hits" the eyes hard?

Strangely enough, it doesn't "blast" at all. The optics are narrow-angle, and the main light beam is directed downwards, into the aquarium. If you hang the LED like this, then it will really blast.
James4342
If we can't take it with our minds, we'll take it with numbers.
Angela6489
Advice - add a description of the optics and a link to it in the first post, as it seems to be missing from the list.

If it's not a secret, could you send me the approximate cost in a private message? (I'm just planning something similar for myself.)
Melissa2062
Overall, it cost around 1200-1300 USD. The lion's share of the price comes from the assemblies with optics. It's also important to consider that some materials were already available, while on the other hand, some had to be purchased in larger quantities than needed (for example, Plexiglass SatinIce is not sold in less than half a sheet (3 m2), but I need less than 1 m2).

The question of the controller is also of interest. Which one was used? And most importantly, how is the lighting set up, the program for the lights?
P.S. The assemblies themselves without a color mixing program are just powerful flashlights. I'm curious about how, in which spectrum your program leans.
P.S. Does the manufacturer of the assemblies offer any kind of lighting program, or is it all left to the user's choice... however you set it up is how it will be...
Kathryn514
There is a basic program, and you can adjust it yourself if needed. There is no bias. All channels are dimmable from 0 to 255.
Tracy
Hello! Will you be launching the controller into production? I am interested in its cost. Does it have a display, or is everything done through a computer? Thank you.
Elizabeth
Yes. 120 currency units without drivers. Everything is done through the computer, there are only buttons for turning the light on/off. Off-topic: Actually, there are 5 buttons, but they haven't been programmed yet.
Jamie3553
Was the radiator base not milled? Is it flat enough, does the assembly fit well?
Corey3201
468 Watts = Lk???
Cindy
I just went over it with fine sandpaper and that's it.
Anne4851
Didn’t count. And why?
Brianna
Offtopic In the greenhouses of Dnaz, the energy consumption is 14 kWh x 12 hours x 2 months.... I have been monitoring the diodes in the context of Grn x Lk energy consumption.
Mark7376
Scalar, San, don't mess with my head while there is no alternative to mercury.
Christina9947
100% But I think soon the prices of devices with diodes will equal those of mercury and sodium.
Tiffany5069
Scalar, I would like to... Actually, I bought myself phyto LEDs, and when I gather everything together, I will present it... I think I shared the link once.
Reginald5073
To what percentage has the light already been output? Probably, you won't be able to output all the claimed watts, because it's not necessary...
Derek7322
And I figured it out 100% from the very beginning.
James4342
And how did the corals respond? Did you get enough light? It's like almost 900 watts of instant light, right?
Joseph9203
It seems they haven't responded at all. Actually, I had 770 watts of light, but the metal halide lamps get very hot and heat the water, plus they can't be dimmed. That's why I switched to LEDs.
Joseph9203
I think that Sergey can still lower the lamp a little bit.
Julia
Without forced cooling? What about the temperature of the radiators?
Angela7060
51 degrees.
Danielle8118
In the fixture, you use drivers of 1000 and 700mA. In the assembly you chose, these currents are the maximum for the diodes. Aren't you afraid that the diodes will need to be replaced in a year?
Melissa1838
No, I'm not afraid. The radiator is good, the temperature is low.
Amber6362
What is the scattering area of the linear meter of the radiator profile you used?
Andrew9581
More than five years of continuous operation, not a single failure, never repaired (only changed the battery in the controller).
Aaron580
How are the impressions? Did you refine it or didn't you think about the hybrid?
