What is the width of an individual radiator plate?

Lisa

radiator profile 92mm. I specifically chose a wider one so I wouldn't need additional cooling. It just so happened that the distance between them is also 92, designed for a T5 light fixture, and it fits perfectly.

James3382

This is not enough. The optimal width is 200-250 mm.

Jeremy8404

little for what?

Vincent

For placing LEDs. They are arranged next to each other in a checkerboard pattern so that the colors mix and there are no color spots. This cannot be done with a width of 9 cm. According to the standards accepted at the Reef Center, 1 LED with a power of 3 watts is placed for every 10-20 square inches of surface. In this case, there will be no more than one LED in width with a spacing of 3 inches (7 cm). As a result, some corals will be illuminated by white LEDs, while others will be illuminated by blue ones, and that won't work.

So the crystals soldered on the stars in the WBR or RGBW combination are also not suitable? Where can I read the theory?

Mark7376

No, they are not suitable. Cree XPG white and XPE RoyalBlue crystals are used (mainly). I haven't seen a theory as such, but there are several interesting topics on creating homemade LED lamps.

Joseph1346

little, much... normal, enough but the point of delivering t5 there is that their light will be much dimmer than LEDs, so it makes no sense, especially at such dimensions. the aquarium is too wide or the light will hang very low, with a width of 46cm? everything is suitable! and these stars too!

Dennis

There is a theme with a mini aquarium. In one of the photos, there is a reflection of the LEDs. You can roughly imagine how far apart they are from each other. But the beauty of the corals is also impressive.

Three LEDs on the disc work great - and more can be placed on the radiator without "separate" beams.

Bethany

I am against the use of RGB stars for purely economic reasons. We need a predetermined spectrum - mainly blue. Neither red nor green is almost needed. This means that in an RGB star, blue will be used at 100%, while red and green will be at 5% each. If we assume the power of each diode is 1 watt, then the total power of the entire star is 1.1 watts. For 100 watts, you need 91 RGB stars or 33 Royal Blue diodes. Which will be cheaper? I am also against the use of diodes made in China; the reasons are outlined in this topic.

Julie

I would like to clarify: On one disc - Blue, Royal Blue, and white LEDs. 3W.

Nicole2404

It's okay. What is a "washer"?

Amanda5586

Here I wrote as a user. Made to order. Externally, it looks like the same disc, the same size as for a single diode. Apparently designed for three contacts. The control was done with white and blue (blue, UV, and royal blue) groups of LEDs.

Tricia7885

All the crystals will be CREE XPE XPG, etc., in different colors. I completely agree that red and green are like traffic lights for corals, but I hope that the colors of some fish and shrimp can highlight them, so there will be a minimum of such crystals. The main focus will be on white, blue, and royal. I also agree about T5s that they can be unnecessary, so they can be removed or not turned on at any time. The width will be 600, hanging above the aquarium. By "stars," I meant those discs with 3 contacts for control, and there will be separate controls for each color. There will also be UV. Additionally, the red color can make the dawn much more colorful.

Vincent

And the lower algae are much larger.

Nicholas

Which ones

Tammy2040

Filament, browns and the like. Unnecessary in marine aquariums. Unwanted light.

Catherine

Then forget it...

Allison

you can put one red in samp

Lindsey3362

Two. Red and blue Although I have 3x36 compacts in Samp. Offtopic The energy meter resembles a fan

Shawn

Let Macro...grow in all its forms.

Scott8536

It's not all rosy on the white side either, looking at the chart.

Tiffany5069

The topic is very over-discussed here. I don't see any point in duplicating it. Additionally, the locals already have LED solutions.

Dawn6148

I started the topic as a consideration of a DIY project and didn't know that someone had already "sucked" my radiator? Well, of course, they continued with the old stuff. I should have referenced those "suckers"; that would have been more appropriate, probably.

Robin

Radiators are sold at factory prices.

Samuel6138

good price, thank you! but do they cut it? taking 3m somehow...

Monique1236

They sell it by the meter, but they can cut it however you want.
