In reality:

and there will be no stagnation in the area (marked in red)? What is this pocket for?
Darrell7542
For automatic refilling. It is isolated. Water from the aquarium flows into the next compartment.
Angela
to avoid repeating the topic, I want to present a significantly modified and more complex version of this sample. Please indicate what is incorrect. I haven't worked with samples before and I'm planning to build my first one. The cell size can be approximately 3-5 cm. I'm concerned about the correctness of the scheme itself and its functionality.

I have another question: where is it better to install the auto-refill sensors (in the compartment of the return pump)? It will be organized through a valve on the osmosis pipe.
David
I have it there. I can't say - I'm not an expert. I did it purely based on my needs, recalculating only the dimensions for my requirements.
Hannah
Thank you, if there is no harsh criticism, I will continue to create.

It's drawn complete nonsense, why such complexities, everything can be done simpler and functionally involve the samp. Why is there this pocket on the right side???? For collecting garbage????? The overflow from one vessel to another should be a maximum of 1cm, and it will sound like a waterfall.
Nicole
Absolutely silent. Water from the auto-fill tank will overflow into the adjacent (receiving) compartment of the sump. So there is even less than a centimeter there.
Vincent
even if it's not 1-2 cm but a 10 cm drop - a waterfall from the water flowing out of the osmotic tube cascading down a 20 cm wide wall - I think that's nonsense. the other bridges are sloped (the main noise comes from the falling water, not from the water flowing down the inclined surface). I was thinking of making the drop 2-3 cm, I can make it even smaller if it's that critical. only where there is double glass can it be larger, up to 10. I didn't understand about the gutter for collecting debris, is that necessary? maybe it's better for collecting algae particles and protecting the feeding pump. more constructive details that won't work properly, where exactly are the mistakes?

Don't listen to anyone, do as you planned.

for what purpose is the samp if there is nowhere to put even a penny
Brandon9634
And he just stands there.
The foam is designed for a immersion depth of 17-20 cm, so you can't place it on the bottom; you would have to make a shelf or something similar, and the space UNDER the foam wouldn't be used effectively.
Helen
Well, it's clearer what is what. But still - is this system designed for 600 liters???????
Angela6489
Yes. There was no more space. Many sumps of the same volume for a 600-liter aquarium are similar. For now, the sump is handling its tasks, and there are no nitrates or phosphates (I measured yesterday).
Elizabeth
The aquarium is young. The foam filter is just a bit weak for this volume. You might want to install a stronger one, but there's no space to fit it. Organics will gradually accumulate, and that's when nitrates will start to rise. Phosphates are not the issue here; it's the water preparation, and you can always throw in a bag of anti-phosphate just in case. Let him comment on this situation now.
Bonnie
Alexey's aquarium is a year old, with the same volume, the sump has the same volume, and the skimmer has the same performance (approximately, of course). Everything is fine with him, and the aquarium is magnificent. So the issue is not only (and not so much) with the equipment.
Well, there are also scrubbers and similar devices.
Jill1815
He is a head taller. And there are practically no fish, so everything is great. BUT the height should always have a margin.
Cindy
Sergiy has all the dimensions of the samp for the simmer A&C200, which will be enough for 600 liters. I wouldn't even install that Chinese one on 100 liters.
Chelsea
I'm not ready yet.
Jeffery7866
My project is a samp under the A&C200 pen that I have on hand. I measured, made a cardboard model, installed it, and the return pump fits with a small margin. If the author of the samp and skimmer approves, I will order the glass and create. If there is interest from a reputable company, I will showcase the result for everyone to see once it's ready.
Michelle
What kind of glass was it made from in the end? From the photo, you can't tell it's 10mm... Thank you for the answer!
