Well, if the manufacturer says it's not suitable for saltwater, then they must know something about it... I wouldn't risk using it in the sea. I personally use the EHEIM THERMOPRESET heater. I'm satisfied!!!

I'm just curious why it doesn't fit; a collar of the same type says it's suitable for marine aquariums.

I also found a similar model from Aquael. Has anyone used it? What are the reviews?

Why do you need a heater with a regulator in a marine aquarium? Water often gets inside through these regulators. I had that issue with JBL and Aquael. Do you have an Amazon aquarium (27) or Discus (30)? Will you be treating someone in the sea by raising the temperature to 30-32? Who knows... give it a try and let me know later. Although there are pictures of the sea.

In this heater, the regulator is external, which is very convenient, so water definitely won't get in.

I am ready to exchange it for marine animals, I created a thread in the marketplace.
