Hello, what goal are you pursuing, why do you need them (resins?) If you are specifically referring to SPS (small-polyped corals), you should have already gone through this or be moving in that direction with your own developments. If possible, could you provide more details about your plans for the reef? I think they can help and advise. Otherwise, it will be ignored, with no response or spam.

Vadim, what will this be? A sand filter for what is or will be the sea?
Ask Dima about the resins.

Vadim, I think you can use regular filters from water purification systems, but I can't help with the resins, I'm not familiar with that.

Thank you. I accidentally came across them in a flower shop, they cost next to nothing. I will make detachable flanges with rubber gaskets, install the fittings, and it's ready. I have decided on the resins I need, now I just need to find them in bulk and I'm good to go.
So thank you to everyone who responded.

Are these ion exchange columns?

Vadim, regular cartridges from household filters will work, but with some modifications—swap the inlet and outlet and place a tube instead of the cartridge almost to the bottom, so the filler will "float" in the water column. I'm making something similar for Purigen (a resin that removes nitrate). What resin are you planning to use for nitrification?

I have a set of three flasks with different resins. How much does the transparent flask 20 cost?
I think this topic is no longer relevant in the sea section and may be deleted at the moderator's discretion.

The filter housing costs about 100, if I'm not mistaken, plus fittings—I would go for plastic, there are many things available for irrigation that can be used.

Perhaps Taras, you are mistaken after all.
