I just disassembled and reassembled the pump from the foam maker again. I adjusted the rotor once more so that it wouldn't wobble between the bearings but also wouldn't be too tight, and I added a bit of grease to the bearings for the experiment. I installed it, turned it on - it works, but after a couple of minutes, the performance noticeably started to drop - both by sound and by the foam output. After about 10 minutes, it completely stopped.

It's unfortunate, but something needs to be done. If you're sure the warranty will cover it, then replace it right away. If there are no options, try auto silicone (it withstands high temperatures), but not the aerosol type; use the thick one sold in containers at auto markets. Disassemble the pump, wipe everything dry, and check for chips and scratches. If there are any, sand them down with fine sandpaper. Apply silicone inside everything, including the magnet and the rod, but not the impeller. Also, treat all rubber and nylon parts. Reassemble and test it. If that doesn't help, I usually don't bother thinking about it further.

Thank you!
Tell me, do I need to scrape the salt from inside the pump in the cylinder where the magnet rotates?
It's stuck there tightly, and I need to scrape it off with something metal and strong - I'm afraid of scratching the plastic of the pump.
But this salt doesn't reach the magnet.

Of course, you just need to be careful and soak it in vinegar for an hour, not with metal but with plastic. There should be no growths; everything should be clean as if you just bought it, at least inside where the rotating mechanism and water flow are.

probably the Jebao was copied from the Aqua Medic DC Runner. Has anyone used such a pump?
Stacy6866
It doesn't matter who copied it. Personally, I and three other Zaporizhzhia sailors use the Return Pump, Hydor Seltz L40, 2800 l/h. I've been running it 24/7 for 4.5 years, and it has always worked quietly. But every 2-3 months, I clean it from the inside and lubricate it with silicone. Aqua Medic hasn't caught on in our city.

This is to see the branded version and maybe buy it.
Eric
Disappointment. It turned out that the pumps in that store have a one-year warranty... Last time I was covered by the warranty, but now I'm out of luck... Damn! What pumps should I buy now to avoid the same problems as with Jebao????
Maria6659
Thank you! But there’s no one to hand it over to here in Krakow...
Maybe send it to someone?...
Who will take it?
Jeremy3637
I measured the performance - 1350 liters per hour. And this is without load... It should be 2000... Maybe it's not that complicated - maybe I can re-solder these keys myself?
Luis3725
Have you actually used these pumps, or are you just writing for the sake of it?
Debra
Well, seriously! Which pumps should I buy? Just so they are quiet...
Rebecca1419
They wrote it a hundred times on the forum.
We have Jebao, Tunze.
Eheim is praised.

I have a New Jet that has been working for three years. I bought it used, and I don't know how long it worked before. It's quiet. I haven't noticed any loss of pressure or performance.
Eric5208
Off-topic, but I understand you deal with pump repairs, or is it just to write something? Judging by the control board, the keys are in the pump itself and filled with compound—so that it can't be repaired.
1. Brown - positive power 24V.
2. Yellow-green - positive control signal 0-5V.
3. Blue - common negative.
Laura7633
I have about 19 volts on the yellow-green, and when you reduce the pump power on the controller, the voltage on the yellow-green increases to 21.4 volts...

Right now I have a NewJet. It rattles like a tractor. Before buying the Jebao pumps, I bought a brand new NewJet 2200, and it also buzzed loudly at night - it can't be compared to the silence of the Jebao.

Which EHEIM model is praised?
EHEIM compact,
EHEIM co+,
EHEIM compactON,
EHEIM universal.
And what do you think - will the Jebao DCP 6500 pump work longer and quieter at its lowest power or the EHEIM (for example, compact+ 3000)?
