By installing two pumps (1 for supply, 2 for return), you can get a flood if one of the pumps fails. P.S. I'm a beginner, but I think I'm not mistaken.

The thing is that there is one pump at the bottom of the aquarium, with adjustable speed. If it fails, the water supply to the sump will simply stop, but you can also install a check valve. Thank you.

And how does it return to the aquarium from the SAMPA???

I didn't think so, thank you. There aren't really any options then, just drilling?

Hello! I worked on a 200-liter overflow for about a month. It turned out to be quite bulky, but it worked well. Then I ordered a new aquarium and drilled it.

By the way, that's an interesting option; I would hide behind the aquarium, there's even a slit in the glass... Thank you for the advice.

If there is an opportunity to place the aquarium and the sump at the same level, you can solve your issue by connecting the two aquariums with a U-shaped pipe, previously filled with water, with a diameter of 40+ mm, which needs to be selected.

Thank you for the advice, I made it with a 32 PVC pipe, it works great, I improved the water intake, and I hid all of it behind the aquarium.
Thanks again.

I ended up with this kind of overflow, in case someone finds it useful. I covered the outer part with insulation, it works quietly, at least for my hearing. I assembled it from PVC fittings by the company ERA, they are dark gray in color and not very noticeable in the water.

Aquamedic intake pipe collects the film and is easy to remove and clean.
