• Marine aquarium based on Hagen Fluval SEA Reef M-40

Good afternoon, I need advice. I am setting up a marine aquarium based on the Hagen Fluval SEA Reef M-40, 53 liters, but I have a problem. I live in the countryside, and sometimes the power goes out. The pump is a Fluval Sea CP1 Circulation Pump with a flow rate of 1000 liters, consuming 3.5 watts as stated on the site. I would like advice on which uninterruptible power supply to get so that it can work for 5-6 hours without electricity. Thank you.

Hello! A simple battery-powered compressor can run for 5 hours, or a ball pump (if you have the strength to keep pumping). An aquarium without a heater cools down quickly in winter; I covered it with a blanket. The family was shocked... You can use an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) from a computer; divide its power by the consumption power to get an approximate runtime. Or a car inverter 12v-220v, but you need to check if the pump starts on it or not... Right now, I have a UPS for the boiler with a pure sine wave and an external battery. All equipment works.

Could you recommend a specific model that would be sufficient for a heater and a not very expensive pump?
