1) So there is a niche cut into the main wall? Or was there one? There is plenty of space for the sump.
2) 32 for the return is too much.
3) Should the drain be connected to the sump? More details, please. The drain during changes occurs from the display.
4) Read about osmosis on the forum, the main thing is the filling.
5) Auto top-off next to the sump, you have enough space.

If the niche is cut into a load-bearing wall, I wouldn't worry about the stability of the aquarium; I would be more concerned about the stability of the house.
Jessica
6) possible
7) don't worry too much, there are plenty of silent options
8) LEDs and light-emitting diodes shine deep enough, the moon at night favors coral reproduction and observation of them))
12) cooling - refrigerator, heating plastic or titanium in the sump
13) for pumps of currents, at least one
14) available - if the price is acceptable
16) In about six months or a little earlier, for now, there’s no need
Alejandro
1) There was a niche!))
2) Didn't understand?))
3) From which display? I'm talking about periodic replacement! Or am I missing something?!

The niche was already there! I didn't cut anything!

32 is too much, in my humble opinion. I have a return to the aquarium from the samp -25, draining 50 for you as well as for me - that's good. The display is the aquarium itself, making changes in the samp is at least inconvenient.
Jennifer5784
I agree I rushed with the diameter! Well, if anything, I'll adjust it where needed!
Why is it inconvenient?! I opened the tap for draining into the bucket, and the osmosis automatically refills; you just need to keep track of how much you've drained, maybe install a counter? With 500 liters, you'll be exhausted doing a 15-20% water change by hand every week, I think!
And what about the skimmer and pumps, can you give me some advice?
Joseph8842
Are you draining salty water and adding osmosis? I think the hydrobionts won't be happy with such salinity jumps. Osmosis is added during evaporation since salt does not evaporate. Water changes are done much less frequently. You drain salty water and refill with salty water of the same density! For pumps and the skimmer, contact Denis; you will find him here.
Hannah
Thank you! Well, now I understand even more that I know nothing! Well, I will figure it out little by little, there's still time, you can't grasp everything at once anyway! I'm sitting here reading a little book by Nick Deakin called "Marine Aquarium," where he talks about a heating system with a heating mat. Have you encountered such devices?
Michelle1662
I don't see the point of mats, as any heater in the tank will evenly warm the aquarium. Without delving into deep biological processes, of course. You should focus on getting a titanium chiller instead of worrying about heating. All equipment heats the water and will generally raise it by a couple of degrees for sure; I keep it at a stable 25 degrees.

A small refrigerator is a must! I mentioned this at the very beginning that as soon as winter comes, it's a disaster; the house feels like a sauna, they heat it up thoroughly! This winter, I was away from home for a day, the radiators were fully open and the windows were closed, and the thermometer inside showed 35-37 degrees when it was -15 outside. What models of refrigerators can be considered? And what power?
Randy
good and expensive or normal and not very expensive?
Darlene4238
Let it be better to have good and expensive, but most importantly, reliable!
Stacy6866
I have one like that, quite quiet. Why such power? If the temperature is 38, it easily maintains 25!
Veronica
Not a weak price! But it's better to spend at the beginning than to pay later! Only this one is for 700 to 1500 liters, as I understand it, I need the one for 250-500! Or am I mistaken again? Does the system connect to it, or does it need to be immersed in the sump? Sorry, I didn't read the previous message about the temperature! Now it's clear! The one for 500 will work under strain?!
Joseph9057
No, he's outside, I'm stuck in Samp, he sends from Samp and returns to Samp, you can also hang it on the return, I didn't dare. Well, if I decide on a larger volume, do I need to buy another fridge?
Loretta5483
Got it! I'm slowly starting to figure out the equipment list with your help, for which I am very grateful! But I feel that even when everything is purchased, I will have even more questions about how to set everything up! If you don't mind, I will periodically reach out to you with questions?! I'm going to sleep now, as I have work tomorrow! And thanks again!
