Sikke voyager, Vortek. Another price. But San-Sans - just for a couple of months. At least, I had it this way: out of three 4-Sans - one became, the second twisted in the opposite direction, the third buzzed loudly... cheap fish - bad broth.

Vortex 10 or 20 Pros - many Cons - price

Michelle5859

Another tunze. The price is a bit lower.

Another downside is the noise. Sleeping in a room with this thing is impossible (at least with the 40) even in night mode.

Sanas last more than a year. Even if you change them once a year, it's not expensive. Vortex is also not eternal, so the choice is yours. For 250 liters, two 102s are too much. Read Savchuk's work; it describes the volumes per hour in great detail. From my own observations, I realized that it's better to have more pumps with lower power than fewer pumps with higher power.

What about the Boyu WM-4?

Laura4892

Do they still sell Vortex 20?

Kimberly4253

I can't find anything at all from what was written.

Danielle8118

If you can't find Tunze, you can also check Sicce.

Vortex: I use Vortex and Sikke. The latter is much quieter, but there are no flow options.

If you are going to set the numbers, then use 1-102, 1-101 pcs or 101x2 pcs in each of the options on the back side (behind the stones) a pump of 1500-2000 l/h will be needed. If there were enough funds, I would install a Vortex 20.

Joseph2576

They no longer sell that model. There are 10, 40, and 60.

Stephanie4990

M da Vortek is not cheap. I will probably buy two Sana 101s to start or Boyu WM-4 (the controller can be modified for pumps with 220), and then we'll figure it out.

Danielle9144

I didn't understand this part.

Adam4310

It probably meant that a pump should also be placed behind the stones, not just in the foreground.

Natasha

Here it may be useful for someone: If you are going to lay out a reef made of stones, you will need to install a pump to blow air through the stones from the back side of the aquarium. If you are going to glue the stone structures like Tanya does, then you don't need to. (Post 3) I didn't know they did it that way either.

Every time I come to Airif, I am amazed: one pump for a 600-liter aquarium with LPS and SPS...
