The main problem with these lamps is that the power supply is stabilized not by current, but by voltage. Consequently, small fluctuations in input voltage affect the diodes negatively.
Erica
Is that the only problem? What if we install a stabilizer?
Bonnie
Then it's already an online ups. In my opinion, a lottery. Although we need to look at their warranty obligations in case of individual diode failures. There is a thread somewhere on the forum where a person detailed the range of input voltages (+/- 10%) that should be maintained for the current on the diodes to be critical. I'll find it and share the link.

Is it impossible to solder a current-limiting resistor?
Andrew419
I am not a circuit designer and I have no desire to solder anything in the new fixture, risking the warranty.
If it's so simple, then describe it in DIY projects; I think many will be grateful to you. For now, your messages resemble background noise—there's sound, but no substance.

After such outbursts from the moderation team, the desire to write anything at all has completely disappeared.

Gentlemen, allow me to intervene! Which light fixture are we talking about? The link on the website shows a photo of the AquaLighter 90cm ine, a discontinued light fixture with LED strips. Regarding the 90cm fixtures that we are currently selling, there are 2 types of fixtures:
AquaLighter 2 ine
AquaLighter 3 ine
Feel free to ask questions!
Stephanie4990
The diode chains in the AquaLighter 2 ine and AquaLighter 3 ine fixtures have current-limiting resistors, and the LEDs are powered at a low current of 400mA. I don't see any problems that could "come back to haunt us." The company offers a warranty on all AquaLighter products for 1 year from the date of sale. We have been successfully selling these fixtures in Russia and are starting to sell in Europe and the USA.
AquaLighter products undergo TUV GS CE certification, which imposes serious requirements on production organization, the use of quality components, safe operation, warranty obligations, and more.

You quickly got to the third series. It will be interesting to see it in person. What is the difference between the 2nd and 3rd series? And why are there no specifications for even the 2nd series on the AquaLighter website?
Is a burnt-out diode a warranty case?
Your light fixture simply tempts with the possibility of easily adding LED to your system without any hassle. But the need to search for information on each fixture is just exhausting, and the lack of specifications on the manufacturer's website is surprising.

The difference between the 2nd and 3rd series of AquaLighter is significant - the main feature is the ability to control it using the AquaLighter Device controller in AquaLighter 3. A burnt-out diode is a warranty case. All information about the fixtures is available here on the forum in our thread: Regarding the information on the website - we will fix the situation soon - thank you for the signal!
