I have been using the Aquamedic electrode for six months. Yesterday I thought about recalibrating it with standard solutions, but it turned out that it wasn't necessary; it shows measurements accurately. The only drawback is the cost of 650.

Is it the one in a plastic case?
Stephanie3084
That's the one. I wouldn't take a risk with the glass one.

So what controller is it then? A branded one like Aquamedica, or some nameless one for 170-200 USD?

I would recommend such a pH, Aqua Medic pH Computer. It works great, no problems, but honestly, I didn't like the Aqua Medic controller.

28, and the price is great )

A good branded electrode costs from 600. The controller doesn't have to be from a brand; a Hong Kong one can be used for 300-400.

If the pH electrode is planned to be used in a KR reactor, the first thing to check is what type of connector it has for the pH electrode; there are two types, threaded and non-threaded. AM has both types of electrodes, and they are of good quality. I also use such electrodes, and they calibrate very well. By the way, the pH electrode in the link above is subpar, and it doesn't fit into any traditional connector because it is too thick, but the controller itself is quite decent, the same AM if you take a closer look.

The link offered a sample of the controller, not the electrode.

Guys, don't argue, the controller for AM and the one in the link are manufactured at the same facility located on the island of Taiwan.

Is this the Patech PH-201?
