Why such a long air hose? Usually, I just make a hole in the top cap and glue in a tap. In some places, the hole is just partially sealed with a piece of putty to achieve the desired effect... And in your photos, it's not clear how the air intake adjustment is made...

I adjusted the air intake with a fine-tuning valve. It's currently removed. What's the difference with or without it? The hose is long as per Airif's advice. They said it would be preferable for the hose to be about 30 cm. Maybe I misunderstood something...

The same problem occurred. Completely removing the silicone hose solved the issue. Then I also took off the tap on top.

What is the diameter of the drain pipe and the size of the air vent hole?

Whitney

My durso is 32mm. The air hole is about 2-3mm.

It's little. Surely, that's where all the confusion comes from.

To be honest, I can't understand how it can be so little. If the drain is emptying faster than the pump can pump water from the sump to the tank, then why is the diameter small? As I understand it, the problem may lie in the mismatch between the feeding pump and the drain opening. That is, the pump is pumping faster than the drain can release, or the drain with the fully open valve is releasing water into the sump too quickly. And how can it be explained that everything works for a week, and then problems start...?

Max, in post 2, Yarik is asking a question. It's a good one. And please pay attention to the diameter of your air tube. Try replacing it with a narrower one. Experiment with the feeding pump; it might actually be necessary to slightly reduce its power. You know the methods.

This is most likely the issue, as the open faucet is not working and the system is not deciphering. Hence the strong suction in the drain. Try removing the silicone hose from the middle of the tube and fully opening the faucet. The drain should indeed be stronger than the return. The difference can be adjusted with a ball valve at the bottom of the drain pipe. I have a 32 mm pipe for the drain and a 25 mm pipe for the return, which is also twice as long as the drain plus bends. However, I also have a pump with adjustable power...

Where can I buy a regular ball valve? In Epicenter, they only have stainless steel ones. In the end, I shortened the silicone hose to 10 cm and tightened the valve a bit (it's extremely difficult to do, a normal ball valve is needed). It seems to be working fine, but there's a bit of noise. I will fight until the end. But even with this outcome, it doesn't seem too bad. You understand that I can't replace the 20 mm pipe with a 32 mm one. However, I can still make an emergency drain, but that's a last resort.

I got it from Aquamedic. It's a bit pricey, but it fits perfectly, with options for any pipes, and it's a reliable manufacturer. I have no noise from the drain at all, not even with the cabinet open. The overflow gurgled a bit at first, but it quieted down after about a week. For the return, my pump delivers about 2 tons per hour on the return output, and around 3 tons on the return input.

Oh! Thank you!
