Hello. The manufacturer is reputable. They don't make mass-market products. If they say it's for aquariums up to 3000 liters, I think you can trust it. Its performance will be excessive for you.
Eric8832
The volume of the filler there is only 2.5 liters. Ideally, if you blow in less CO2, the calcium output will be lower too. Or am I misunderstanding? The price is just tempting.
There is also a relatively inexpensive model, the Schuran Jetstream Pico+CO2 Set - according to the specifications - up to 500 liters.
Which one is better to choose?
Lee
A 2.5-liter chamber holds about 5 kilograms of filler. It will be enough for a one-ton aquarium. And for 300 liters, even more so.

Hey, you and other specialists love ambiguity. You say half a sentence, and the rest is up to my imagination. Answer my question.
I am interested in whether it is possible to regulate the process with CO2 injection so that the right amount of calcium is supplied to my aquarium, and I won't have to deal with its excess later. This concerns the reactor linked. Or is it too powerful anyway, and it's not worth getting involved?
Brooke
I don't qualify as a "specialist." But I know the following. In the reactor, both the gas feed rate and the flow rate through the reactor are regulated. That is, if there is too much, the PSH controller can be adjusted to cut off the gas earlier than the academic 6.5, and then the filler will dissolve worse. Additionally, the flow through it can be set to a very slow drip. This way, the calcium feed into the system can also be limited.

Don't be modest.
It's more or less clear now.
Now I would like an answer to the last part of the question: is it worth it or not?
Thomas
This device also has impressive dimensions; 300 liters is certainly a lot, but if you need it cheap, you should go for it. You can control its power by installing an electromagnetic valve for the CO supply, and for a volume of 300 liters, even with densely populated SPS, you can run it for half a day, or less; this is determined through trial and error.

if it's 7 times cheaper, then it costs
Larry
And with this device, you can find out opinions, as somehow no one paid attention to it.

By supplying CO2, you will maintain the desired pH in the reactor (for example, 6.4). And you can regulate calcium in the aquarium through the reactor (1 drop per second, 2 drops per second, etc.).

Why else consider anything if there is an offer, and also a branded CO2 cylinder with a regulator for just 64.142... euros!!! The price is just great!!! I'm ready to take the whole set for 164.142... euros, in case it doesn't work out...
Sarah
I understand that the price seems unrealistic, but I never said it was a new set. It's almost new - lightly used. I provided the link to the online store to clarify what I'm talking about.
Richard2180
even for a used one - very cheap!!! There's no need to consider other options...

Yes, I’m not even thinking about it anymore. I started to address the issue of buying both sets. Then I’ll exchange the extra one for something useful, related to the sea.
