balling instead of a reactor. don't make the flute. the pen works around the clock, not just when you feel like it. in Samp, sand is not needed at all.

Stephanie9175

Yes. I forgot. It can be removed. The initial plan included a refill compartment in the sump. I was concerned about high evaporation. The light wasn't a big worry - sunlight, 2MH at 250, 4 T5. Now the tank will be in a cabinet - I can even put 100 liters. I didn't know about the nitrogen.

Christopher3770

The fact that there is a unique opportunity to use sunlight is great. Such a good support doesn't always come along. The corals will say a huge Russian thank you...

I fell behind. Thanks, I'll read it now. Do you object to the flushing of live rocks? Anaerobic zones are certainly beneficial, but they are all present in live rocks as well. I believe that more problems arise from the accumulation of organic matter. Or are there other opinions? Yes. I know the rules. But the desire to try a certain biocenosis is greater.

flute - will get messed up

+1 and very quickly. And constantly disassembling and cleaning it... It's better to make a direct drain - that way there will be some flow as well. And sand is not needed in the algae tank. After all, it will most likely be on hetamorph.

Yes. And the cauldrons.

Vincent

The heteromorph of the caulerpa will die. They do not grow together.

Things are improving and expanding. I decided not to fill the aquarium volume and to make a proper sump. The total volume in the aquarium is 405 liters, with about 350 liters of water. The sump is 80-80-55. Now, with a separate sump, there is no space for the UPS, and I still don't quite know where the CO2 will be placed. I am attaching the diagram.

Melinda2740

Oh, that's really good! The layout is much better in terms of aesthetic perception. My CO2 tank also doesn't fit in the cabinet. It's hidden between the sofa and the plant, and the uninterruptible power supply also doesn't fit in the cabinet. Question: What is the compartment labeled "heater" for? - an unnecessary device. In my opinion, even in winter, a refrigerator is needed, a heater will never be needed. You already have a bunch of heaters: light, light in the sump, foam, return.

Kevin3114

Yes, it was me who estimated the scale while drawing. This is not a compartment; it's a space for the heater. So, there are just a few remnants from the former aquariums. The drain comes from the algae tank and then goes to the output compartment. Throughout the sump, the "step" between levels is 3-5 cm. The calcium compartment is separate. I read more carefully about the survey on MH - 90 cm comes from one... and I wanted to loop them in a cycle 1MH left - 2MH - 1MH right. So maybe it will be simpler with the temperature...

Amanda

That's it. I "opened" a compartment of 15*25 cm from the output chamber. There will be a CO2 cylinder there. Regarding the control, it turns out like this: The drain according to the aquarium level is 41 liters. In case of a clog in the Durso, the pump will discharge 25 liters from the output chamber and the skimmer. When the lights go out, the skimmer, algae scrubber, chemical filter, and output chambers can hold 73 liters. I am also thinking of making a triangular drain shaft in the corner. It won't take up much more space and will be easier to decorate. Has anyone heard of or practiced this? What are the opinions?
