Actually, the Chinese have long been known for saving on what can and cannot be. It's not a fact that the other pumps have this insulation. Most likely, inside, these wires are laid between some plastic pins/plates that prevent them from shorting out. The price probably differed by one and a half to two times from more reputable competitors.

What was the warranty?
Heather
Then the price wouldn't have decreased. I have a person who is in China. He says there are sneakers for $1.50 a pair, and there are also ones for $500. So good quality won't be cheap, especially now.
Maria
what guarantee?!?!?
this is VIA AKVA... (Vocal Instrumental Ensemble of Aquarium Chinese, Producing Aquatic Equipment)

But then, if we were scraping together money from our savings, we would know that we bought something that would serve us and not let us down when we relied on it. It's no coincidence that people have created the saying "A miser pays twice!" Isn't that right? Huh?

Vig-Vam, you, Christopher Bonivatyvich. Atman has been working for years!!!!!!!!!!

The Chinese are just as involved here as the Greenlanders. Is it really about nationality? Remember how, in Soviet times, tape recorders that passed quality control and state acceptance ended up in the retail network: "No rewinding and playback" - diagnosis - no motor. "When shaken, foreign object" - diagnosis - a dead mouse in the tape recorder. And these are not stories from Zadornov; these are reports on actual pre-sale repairs. And all you had was that the tubes weren't put on and the lubricant wasn't applied. Such things certainly can't be justified, but it's also not worth indiscriminately criticizing the country. Personally, I haven't had any problems with Atman equipment so far.

I used to praise Chinese equipment, but now I've sworn it off. The contact on the Atman thermostat got stuck. As a result, overheating...

Chinese angle grinders, drills, etc. are always "Chinese" and will never compare to Bosch, DeWalt, etc., no matter how much you "tweak" them. This has been proven through personal experience and in professional use, they fail very quickly. All the equipment in aquariums is Chinese; unfortunately, I cannot afford branded aquarium equipment, and I regard it as "Chinese" (price-quality). There is a good saying: Cheap fish makes a bad soup.

Recently, there is no point in buying Chinese pumps. The price-to-reliability ratio is not in their favor. It's better to spend more but do it once. This is especially true for these pumps (MP 5500, 6500, 7500...).
Tracy
Atman started trading 3.5 years ago, believe it or not - not a single heater has burned out, not a single compressor, not a single head!!! The wires at the filters broke at the base, they started working loudly..... And I still have a working filter that has been running for 6 years, AT-101... The price is tempting!!!!!!! Although it's true, it's not profitable to buy Atman right now!!

I'm not a supporter of Chinese, but I'm not completely against it either. Some things are more or less acceptable. As for Bosch, of course, there are no words, just like with BMW, which is German.
Kevin3114
I haven't had any problems with the Atman equipment so far. In freshwater bodies, it's been the fourth year with no issues, and everything is still fine in the sea; we'll see how it goes from here.
Tammy2040
It's interesting, a person is sitting, but is aware of the prices. They probably let him out for a short time sometimes.
Sheila1322
What do the Chinese have to do with it if people don't want to buy quality products and instead choose cheaper ones to make more profit?
Amanda
If such a product were not allowed, it wouldn't be taken either.

The purchase of such a pump is determined by the amount of money; launching a marine aquarium requires a lot of money upfront. I decided to try the Chinese ATMAN. After all, even SONY is made in China now. The problem is that no one properly tests and checks them. They just assemble them, shove them in, and that's it. What kind of warranty is there? I don't know about others, but in my case, two ATMANs and two Hubor Coralias died within two years. However, the Resun works just great. My electricity setup is fine; I have a stabilizer (SNPTO 7.5), an uninterruptible power supply, a residual current device, and good grounding. Now I will try Aqua Medic, also "Chinese."

You probably came across a Chinese counterfeit of a Chinese brand. By the way, two out of three Yager heaters broke down for me in two years (I didn't fully submerge them in water, according to the instructions on the "waterline"). What could be more reliable than that company, right?
Aaron6112
Lesha, all the fakes of Chinese brands are "made in Odessa, on Mala Arnautskaya Street."
Larry
Outdated stereotype. If it were true, the residents of Odessa would have long been the richest people in the world. But, believe it or not, in the first half of the 90s, I was assembling and tuning "Electron" televisions, not just in the basement of an electronics store on Bolshaya Arnautskaya.
Karen81
We took from the same interesting company "Brands".
Patrick4439
Well, it's clear, after all, it's "Electron" and not "Atman". It deserves Big Street.
Yvette209
I bought Jaeger heaters in stores in Odessa in 2004. It was already mentioned earlier that many agreed that there was a defective batch.
