Is the skimmer modified for the ozonator? The amount of ozone supplied should be regulated by the controller. But why do we need the ozonator at all? In my opinion, we are striving for the "correct" biological balance. Some even pour bacterial preparations into the aquarium. And the ozonator kills all of that. What is the benefit?

There is no ozone generator, and I don't plan to install one. I think it is more necessary during holding, fish adaptation, and for treating fish diseases.

Guys, what about the increase in the potential of the respiratory system, the oxidation of exhaled air, and consequently, being cleaner...
And who else can say anything...?

After reading the page about ozone, I came to a definite conclusion that ozone is needed. Right now, the client has a dead large lobophyllia (not the onca), there are no fish, 15 kg of live rock, and another 70 kg of not very good tufa. It has been set up for 1.5 months, and the nitrites were 0.2 mg yesterday. This morning, I installed an ozone generator in the tank; let's see if the aquarium improves. The volume is 450 liters, and I'll update later!

I have this thing about debating the benefits and harms; it's like trying to figure out what's better - bananas or apples. If you're strong in the natural sciences, you won't break any wood. Otherwise, this device is just a pile of scrap metal. BUT there is a lot of information online about ozonation and devices. It's hard to give a brief answer. Unless it's in a phone conversation.
