Considering that only Aqua Medic is imported on a regular basis and various Chinese products are brought in occasionally, your choice for comparison is very vast...

Patricia1746

Regarding the choice - even Deltek is present, but the price... I would recommend, if there is a refrigerator - its location outdoors, if not - reducing the number of pumps (1 pump reduces the temperature by 3-8 degrees), as well as blow fans and a built-in automatic refill of osmosis water. For example, such a Deltek: Pavlik, take a close look at the design.

Jenny

Such a cooler is unlikely to be suitable for installation in an apartment, as it is a regular evaporator and will create a real sauna in a closed space. For that kind of money, it would be better to buy a proper refrigerator, and this design can be easily assembled by oneself because the construction is primitive. Despite its considerable size, it consists of a roll of the same Znkamata 4 installed inside a box, onto which water is sprayed, and air is supplied from two 120mm fans, and that’s basically the whole design.

I thought it was strange that a refrigerator for aquariums is similar to a regular refrigerator... A chamber that cools down, and inside it, let's say, a coil through which water from the aquarium flows... Added after 1 minute What can be said about Aquamedic refrigerators? What is the principle of operation? Can it be placed in a separate box (made of particle board) lined with sound insulation, and can 3-4 coolers be placed on the back wall?

Joshua9847

Aquarium coolers are designed that way, but the Eco-Cooler from Deltek is not a refrigerator; it is a cooler whose principle of operation is based on water evaporation. Regarding the installation of the cooler, it is better to install it somewhere outside the room, like the outdoor unit of a split air conditioning system, otherwise it will return heat back to the aquarium by heating the air in the room, and if installed in a cabinet, it will overheat itself and also be quite noisy. It might be better to just use a fan to blow on the water.

This is what I meant with Paul having golden hands...

Stuart

I understood this, which is why I developed the idea further.

Kevin

And they don't make it on Peltier elements?

Colleagues, Does anyone have experience using this device? Have you heard any good reviews about it? Features Slim and easy to store Effective and energy-saving Double function: chiller and heater Low noise and environmentally friendly Accurate temperature setting in steps of 0.5°C Ideal for fresh water and marine water Specification Voltage 220 - 240W 50/60Hz Size: 300 x 320 x 350mm Suitable for below 300 liters or 79 gallons tank use Power 280W Pump required (below 500 liters/130 gallons) Power 1/10HP

For my 280 and 300 liters, I am currently considering the Deltec DD DC-300 and the Teco TC5. The Teco has a built-in UV sterilizer, but it's Italian (prejudice against the country of manufacture). The Deltec is simpler in design, but it's German. The price is roughly similar: 330-370 euros. Either of them is better than Aquamedic. I'm still pondering...

Until recently, I had a Titan-500, which was practically silent; you couldn't hear it at all from a meter away. You probably just had bad luck. Also, you need to clean the area where the air exchange with the compressor occurs - the grille and underneath it. This will reduce noise and heating, and improve cooling.

Marie5348

The 1500 Aquamedic is there, while you had the 500. Feel the difference! The Boyu, which is similar to the 500 medic that Tkach has, is also not noticeable. Overall, I liked the Hea (from the large refrigerators); I haven't used the small ones, so I don't know. It has a Hitachi compressor, titanium tubes, all that, and it works quieter than the 1500 Aquamedic, while being half the price. It's been running beautifully for over a year now! If I had to choose between Boyu and Resun, I would choose Boyu. It feels like Boyu is a bit better. By the way, I looked at the Deltec DD DC-300—it looks like a copy of Hailea.

Wendy2244

On the contrary, Hailea is a copy of Deltec. I just don't like Chinese equipment. I'd rather pay a little extra to boost my self-esteem.

Tammy2040

This is what I wanted to express, a copy of Deltek.

The question is whether the Aquamedic Titan 1500 will be sufficient to lower the water in a 1000-liter aquarium to +8 degrees when the room temperature is +25, or if it would be better to use the 2000 model with a margin. Such a low temperature is needed for other purposes.

Leslie

Titan 1500 won't cope.

Amanda

heat exchanger plus 12th condenser block 700 liters 7 degrees (we haven't tried lower)

Crystal

2*1500 will be just right.
