UDT company Svyatoshinskaya 1 t4595108 I bought a Chinese osmosis from them 1 year ago at m 600

Nicholas2252

Outdated information They moved to the raw material. I was there today. I asked about the Chinese - the quality is 50/50, it depends on luck. That's why the price is like that.

Bethany

Thank you! Then I will probably take the one for 300 USD, and also for myself the model with the mineralizer for an additional 50 USD.

Rebecca

I was told that there will be a wholesale department in Nasirce, and in Svyatoshino it will be retail, but it's better to clarify, of course. I called back, the new address is Syretskaya 31, not far from the bird market in Svyatoshino, it won't be there anymore...

Alec9378

I once started with the phrase "cheaper" too... then I realized that all our problems begin with the word "cheaper"...

Brian6895

I got myself a system from Watton, direct link to the price list in pdf (1.2m). On page 48, there are two models, one with a pump ($235) and the other without ($170), both five-stage. I also added a sixth stage (in a transparent housing), specifically as a pre-filter before the reverse osmosis.

Judy

As far as I know, a pump is needed if the pressure in the system is insufficient, like less than 4 atmospheres. If it's more, then it shouldn't be necessary. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Mitchell3177

Yes, you are right, the model with a pump is needed if there is insufficient pressure in the system (high floor). I live on the 9th floor, and in the evening, the stream of cold water from the tap is like 3 matches; I wonder why it's only cold? Is no one using hot water? That's why I installed the model with a pump. I haven't measured it exactly, but it seems to me that the model with a pump has a higher output, and the filter provides more water than stated.

Chad9037

And after osmosis, it's best to install ion exchange resins; I can suggest where to get them.

Kenneth7331

Osmosis can be purchased from UDT (Chinese) with 5 stages of purification and a pump. 700. Cartridges and membrane can be replaced if you don't trust the Chinese.

Breanna9982

I read on the internet, "Ion exchange resins are active materials used in ion exchange filters for purifying water from salts." But isn't it supposed that after reverse osmosis, there are no salts left in the water? Ideally, it should be pure H2O?

Darlene4238

So if we change it, will it probably end up costing the same as a normal system?

Jessica5348

This is in theory. A little, but it always remains. The other thing is that such additional purification is not needed for an aquarium in most cases. Although if you pass osmosis water through a column with a mixture of cation and anion resins, you will get a pH close to 7 at the output. But this is theory; in practice, this is, in my humble opinion, from the category of "too much is unhealthy."

Angela

Yes, the opinion is interesting but incorrect; water should be purified as much as possible because when water evaporates from the aquarium, we introduce various unnecessary elements and toxins, even in small amounts, but over time they accumulate and negatively affect the animals in the aquarium. However, everyone has their own goals and opinions, so the choice is up to the aquarium owner.

Brandi

It may be incorrect; I do not claim to have the ultimate truth. After osmosis in water, the salts are so few that against the background of the feed, fertilizers, and waste from the life activities of plants and animals, they can be disregarded.

Keith7534

No, we are saving. Cartridge replacement is about 80. Membrane is about 300.

Darrell5975

This is exactly where the Marine Aquatic System needs to achieve maximum water purification.

April3499

This savings is beneficial for residents on the first floor, that is, the first one. But for those higher up, there is every chance of causing damage to the neighbors below. Chinese units usually cannot withstand normal pressure in the system, and with a slight hydraulic shock, they burst like balloons. For me, buying a Chinese filter feels like playing Russian roulette.

Mark9853

Name me at least one manufacturer of non-CHINESE osmosis systems, and I will allow you to throw a stone at me. You understand what I mean, but there is a difference between Chinese and others!

Leonard

If it's still relevant, take a look at this link; I found it myself, and it seems to have some pretty cool prices.

Melinda

GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who has the VODOGRAI system? Please advise how to correctly connect the pressure sensors and the pump... Better with photos!

Dennis

Are there any specific features? It seems that all pumps are installed the same way.

Jennifer7578

There are two sensors and a pump, I don't know where to connect them...

Jill1815

I see. Well, I won't make a drawing or a photo, but I'll try to explain it this way. EVERYTHING is connected in series, i.e., power supply - pump - sensor 1 - sensor 2 - power supply. The sensors are for high and low pressure. The low-pressure sensor activates if there is no water (it opens) and prevents the pump from turning on, while the high-pressure sensor activates if the valve is closed and the storage tank is full. So, when assembling "without connecting to the water supply," you need to use normally open contacts for the low-pressure sensor and normally closed contacts for the high-pressure sensor.

Jonathon8514

Oh... at least schematically...

Jennifer9100

only in the evening. If you don't write here, I will post the connection diagram.

Tanya

Okay... I will wait.

Cheryl

Will you figure it out?

Kevin3579

He needs an ELECTRICAL diagram.

Leonard

So. The scheme is as follows: Here is the installation manual for the Atoll osmosis system. There is a mounting diagram on page 9. I really don't remember what the sensors look like, but the pressure sensor has an adjustment screw for a hex key.

Peace be with you! There are ion exchangers - AN and KU with digital markings that show the volume. After these columns, the water is like bidistillate (double distillation). However, there is a need to let the water sit for up to 48 hours to remove the "static" ionic current. Regeneration of the columns requires a 30% solution of table salt. In the reverse direction, up to 10 liters. The output is weak hydrochloric acid. After regeneration, rinse with 4-5 liters of water from the column. The column has a diameter of 150 mm and a height of 750-900 mm, with a resource of up to 500 liters before regeneration. Good luck.

The problem is solved by installing an additional faucet next to the sink. When I leave the house, I turn off the faucet. It's a ball valve, so it's easy to see whether it's closed or not. It's also convenient; I don't have to dive under the sink every time to turn off the water. I also installed an electric switch for the pump to prevent accidental activation and burning out the pump. It might be overcautious, but, you know, China...

Natasha

I read somewhere that there are osmoses that push all the supplied water without any waste going to the sewer. Did I mix something up, or are there really such systems?

Erica

Have you heard about the perpetual motion machine too? -)))

Jesse

Guys, be more careful with your advice. P.S. The level of mineralization in osmosis is important for drinking water for people, and for the aquarium .......... P.P.S. There is a good rule "Do no harm."

Stephanie9175

When my drain from the reverse osmosis to the sewer got clogged, the reverse osmosis system pushed all the water without draining. However, it didn't last long; the membrane died.

Cindy

I was looking for a link on related topics, and it's right there, in the 11th message. At the very end in the product description. "....Filters 100% of incoming water (filtration without discharging water into the sewer). Does not remove minerals from the water...." Regarding minerals, this is contradictory advertising for osmosis, but claiming 100% water is an exaggeration.

Karen2578

I had the same picture.

Kimberly2102

I didn't understand what the question is.

Jennifer

Aquafer. Without a pump. TDS at the outlet from 25 to 50. What are the next steps? - replace the membrane (which one?) - resins (which ones?)

Thomas

It depends on the TDS at the input. I have 650 ppm at the input, and after the new membrane, it's 20-30 ppm. Then there are 2 resin cartridges, MB-50 or MB-20.

Mark9853

Input is 400. What are MV-50 and MV-20? Please provide a link to read about them. And where can I buy them?

Eric

probably, this is what is meant. I'm currently setting one up for myself...

Joseph1346

clean only with resin

Paul

MV-50 brought the water to 0. It is indeed working.

Loretta5483

Oleg79, the link doesn't work, unfortunately.

Jenny

Guys, can you tell me if it's possible to combine the use of an osmosis system for drinking water for the whole family and for a marine aquarium? If I get one with a mineralizer, can I remove it when I need to collect pure distillate for the aquarium, or not? I'm a complete novice in this, but I would like it to be beneficial for both people (with minerals) and fish.

Kevin8087

You can install a tee fitting, and after it, either a tap (which you will open to collect clean, osmotic water) or a valve that can be connected to a water level sensor (auto-fill). The red part is the tee fitting, and the orange part is the tap or valve.

Laura3673

Thank you, may I contact you later for a detailed explanation of how to do all this? Perhaps you could suggest which reverse osmosis model with a mineralizer to pay attention to? So that it would also be suitable for an aquarium.

Rachel

no problem
