Do you want to retrofit the finished one? Or are you planning to make it only?

Laurie3842

No, I plan to make a new one.

Jeffrey

With this approach, you can end up buying a lot of junk with a locomotive... It would be better to roughly determine the type of aquarium, animals, equipment, and look for where to buy. The sea is an individual constructor, and everyone builds it in their own way, and there is no clear and precise recipe.

Ronald

I agree, there isn't just one recipe, but there aren't many options either. Do you need a skimmer? - Yes; proper lighting for the main aquarium and algae tank? - Of course; if there's a sump - a return pump; live rocks even for seeding... And a sterilizer (but that's already) helps avoid many problems, especially at the beginning. After that, yes, there's room for creativity, experimentation, and reading forums!

Shawn

It's clear that there isn't a single recipe and that everyone does it their own way, but I need something to start from. I redesigned my freshwater aquarium four times before I got what I wanted. So, is there really no one who can help me set up a marine aquarium and earn some money in the process? I'm not asking for it for free. =).

In Kyiv, ask for the ray of the Weaver.

Sure, they will sell you an Aquamedic turbo flocculator with bio balls, after which your nitrate level in the aquarium will be at least 100 mg/l. If you are going to seek advice, do it only from people who understand this, not from sellers whose job is to sell...

Derek7322

I join Arovane, contact Tkach with the rim.

Debra6575

If you have a problem with nitrates rising, don't blame the turbo skimmers from Aqua Medic. I've been using them for a long time and have NO issues!!! You must be a very big specialist to allow yourself to speak about their company like that (with mistakes). They must have hurt you a lot!!!

Tracey

Personally, nitrates don't bother me... but something else might come up, depending on the situations... I would advise you to insert the word "yet" between "and problems"... then everything makes sense... No one has offended me... but I am indeed the most pathetic and clueless in this area... you hit the nail on the head. P.S: On this link, or at least on this one (but it's an enemy site), people share and describe their aquariums... how they set them up, what problems they encountered, ask questions, and continue to learn... It seems you have a cool aquarium...

Javier5186

Pavlik cannot be outrun! A person with his own approach to the sea, but most importantly, a GOOD PERSON.

Karen

... or at least on this (but it's an enemy site) people share and describe their aquariums... how they set them up, what problems they encountered, ask questions, and continue to learn... You, Pavlik, have left quite a few messages on this enemy site (270) and showcased your own and others' aquariums, probably gained something useful, and shared it on this forum; it's somewhat disrespectful how you talk about colleagues in the hobby, passion, business... P.S. I apologize for the off-topic -)))

John3432

I apologize if I offended anyone... The site is very good... the best... It's just that it has to be either bourgeois or enemy, since I am such a national-fascist... This will not happen again.

Jeffrey6189

I am a very emotional person too - but I don't tell Arovan about the useless Atmans (sorry for the comparison, I have nothing against these filters), especially since I have never used them. I was hoping that Pavlik would express his personal opinion instead of sending me to search the forum. And I, being foolish, use Aqua Medic foam separators and don't realize that EVERYTHING IS BAD!!!

Let's respond to the topic at hand. Or can we moderate what we've flamed here and open a new topic?

Joseph8842

It's late. The author of this thread just decided to leave!!!
