a beautiful attachment for flow... I would also buy it, maybe it's worth looking for it in online stores... But I have a couple of questions... I didn't understand how it attaches? To the 15 mm glass? And where is the pump?

Jason9385

We're waiting! She promised in February. I've only seen it in pictures. It attaches with a magnet similar to Tunze. The glass should be up to 15 mm thick. Since these pumps do not operate on 220V, it will be very easy to make a flow controller for them. In general, all hope is on Arowana.

Katherine

Well, it's FEBRUARY!

Bridget

This is just the beginning, but they promised in February.

Debra8438

Arowana: how is that issue progressing?

Andrew419

So far, it is known what has been ordered.

Kristen2246

Ummmm, what made you think that they don't operate on 220V?

Chris

Very low power. For example, I haven't seen a pump that delivers 2500 l/h with a power of 5 watts.

Kevin3114

Hmm... I want to clarify that these pumps work from the mains, meaning 220 volts, but their wattage is low... they can't be controlled, unfortunately. As for 2500 at 5 watts, their operating principle is slightly different from regular pumps; they have a screw similar to that of a boat or ship, just in miniature, of course... for flow in a marine aquarium, it's just right, the tunzes are arranged the same way.

Phyllis

They will come, we will see.

Jeffrey

And where, if it's not a secret, are such prices?

Jill1815

I was looking at this site Hydor Koralia tfjpetcenter.com/index.asp?PageAction

Anne

You can also check the prices and specifications here, and you can buy it there as well.

Stacey4437

It's already done, we'll post it tomorrow.

Joshua3019

I bought a coral at the exhibition, and my friend immediately purchased it as soon as we tested it in his aquarium. The pump is great, but the only downside is that it doesn't work at all with the UPS; I suspect it won't work with the generator either. Since it is not fixed on the shaft, when I try to run it on backup power, the magnet starts to jump on the shaft with a terrible crackling sound.

Stephanie4990

Do they crack for a long time? Does it go away?

Angel628

Read carefully. "It starts" can sometimes not crack; as I understand, there is something that, when the screw begins to rotate in the "wrong" direction, cracks and then starts in the "right" direction.

Michael

That's true, but the Atmans crackle louder. And every time, it seems they always head in the wrong direction.

Tina

Yeah, and there's also a terrible crackling on the ups, they hardly start, although sometimes they do after a couple of minutes, but it's a shame to torture the pump for so long.

Elizabeth1221

Good day, dear forum members! I want to ask a question about the noise level of this pump. I want to buy it, but I'm concerned because the aquarium will be next to the bedroom. Please share your impressions about the noise, or maybe suggest something quieter. Thank you in advance!

Michelle104

Quieter than Tunze nanostream, but also a bit more expensive.

Jennifer9100

I understand Tunez better, but Coral is completely silent... Launching, yes. That's how you stop it every three months (or maybe even less), just to clean it...

Ryan7682

Coralies are completely silent pumps. However, they have one significant drawback - the ceramic shaft, which is very easy to break!

Brandy1134

Thank you, I have already ordered. Can this axle be replaced with something in case of a breakage?

Lauren

no, the axis is unfortunately not subject to repair...

Bonnie

Not only is there nothing to replace it, but ordering a new one is also uncertain... I have 2 Coral 2s, and both have broken shafts. I can't bring myself to throw them away! The wave in my aquarium is currently created by a VorTech. What a PUMP!!!

John5528

I agree with Vortex. Tyunz is on vacation!!!

Erin

Sorry, I couldn't find anything about "вор-тек" online. If it's not too much trouble, please send a link or explain what it is. Thank you.

Hunter1471

here is the link

Phyllis

Here is the manufacturer's website. I have an MP20. It moves water in a 240-liter aquarium (120 cm long) by 2 centimeters. The corals are just "loving it"!

Troy8808

I think there are drawbacks: the price, noise, one stream per controller, and the inability to secure it if the aquarium is tightly placed against something on the sides. The advantage is that it doesn't seem to heat the water.

Heather6148

When it comes to VorTek, regarding the noise, there is a "night mode," and when it is activated, the pumps are silent. However, there is the possibility of wireless synchronization of multiple pumps. They are not cheap... But they are worth it! That's for sure... But I believe that all the advantages of VorTek more than outweigh any potential drawbacks!

Curtis9143

Vortex - quieter than Tunze! Incredible - but it's a FACT!!!! The main thing is to perfectly match the internal and external parts. There are more modes than in Tunze. And how do you like the wireless pump synchronization? (Oh, someone already wrote that). New aquarium - only on Vortex!!!!!!!

Nicole2404

It's impossible to install if something is on the sides. I encountered this problem when installing 2 Tunze 6105 pumps. The furniture is tight on one side. Here's how I solved it. I used a hole saw for the MDF to match the diameter of the magnet and all that. The Vortech can also be installed this way. By the way, on the other side, the overflow magnet is lowered into the box. So I found a solution for that too.

Jacqueline5976

Hello Listen, have you seen them in action? They are interesting pumps, no doubt, but there are many complaints about the noise... And what impressed you so much about the operating modes? I'm really interested in your opinion, even if it's subjective and unbiased. Hello. If it's not too much trouble, as a real user, could you tell me more about this pump?

Cynthia

What exactly are you interested in? There have already been comments about the noise. The pump is very quiet! Those who complain about the noise are likely either not setting the pin spacer correctly (which is a type of spacer that is adjusted based on the thickness of the glass) or poorly aligning the inner and outer parts. The MP20 has 5 main operating modes, plus a night mode and a feeding mode. What else should I tell you? I have one Vortec MP20 for 240 liters of water. It creates a decent wave, and I don't observe any dead zones. Overall, I am VERY satisfied with it!

Denise

What is the size of the aquarium (LxWxH)? I am very interested in opinions about VorTech as an alternative to the classic combination of VibeBox + Streams... Roughly speaking, 3 VorTech-40 or VibeBox + 2x6105?

Jessica5348

Of course I've seen it, the MP20 is working in my aquarium. There's no noise. Recently, I used the new Aquamedic stream (I just took it to try it out). In the evening, I'll share my impressions with photos.

Sheila

3 pieces of Vortex-40 or Vibex + 2x6105?

Devon107

Jewel 240 120X45X40 or something like that... Depending on the volume of the aquarium, you set the required number of VorTech MP40W pumps, they synchronize and work as one. No need for any box that takes up space and is also ugly! P.S. By the way, VorTech creates a decent backflow along the entire bottom. Detritus hardly accumulates.

Mark7376

Your words inspire optimism... Tune in to the fire!

Joseph9057

Stas Alpin, if it's not too much trouble, could you share your thoughts on the Reef Crest Mode and Lagoon Mode? What do they represent and what are your personal impressions of these modes?

Michael5242

The Reef Crest mode simulates the current at the reef crest. This means the pump changes power more frequently and less smoothly. The Lagoon mode, on the other hand, simulates the current in the lagoon. The power changes less frequently and more smoothly. I experimented with all the modes, and judging by the corals' reaction, they preferred the Short Pulse mode. This is when the water is oscillating. It's quite easy to set up; you just need to find the resonant frequency.

Amy5468

interesting solution

Wesley

People, please advise what to do. I bought a KORALIA 1 pump today. How does it connect to the socket? I understand that a controller is needed. What is it and how is it used?

Scott9892

There are different modifications, and some require a controller, particularly the 12-volt ones.

Shelby3182

It looks like this or

Susan9583

How to hang Coralia on 19mm glass? I understand that its magnet holds a maximum of 15mm.
