forget about it. if there is no possibility to buy osomos for 2 thousand, then probably there is also no way to invest 2 grand in a minimal sea. -Aquarium lid with 2 lamps of 24 watts - I can't believe the sea will thrive under such light.

Zachary

1. Osmosis can be purchased for 900 without a storage tank on this forum. 2. There will be enough light for the fish and for the hardy corals for the time being.

The sea without money looks very shabby. How much substrate is needed for 140 liters and live rocks? Another 400 bucks. Maybe I'm skeptical... I have no experience with the sea... but reading the topics, I understand that people invest differently than in freshwater.

Melissa2062

Yes, for some reason everyone feels it is their duty to breed first and only then study the question. It is pointless to answer questions for now, as a properly formulated question should consist of 50% of the answer. In essence: one surgeon barely fits into 140 liters, and even then - gritting his teeth.

suspended filter or at least an internal one. 300-2000 sand, you can use such stone S.R.K. (dry reef stones), or live ones around 10-20 kg 600-3200, you can also collect Black Sea ones. You can salt tap water that has been filtered through coal, but there will be issues with topping up; you'll have to buy automotive or pharmaceutical distillate. Or, as a last resort, choose the softest water that is delivered to offices.

Amber6362

A low bow, thank you for the first response on the matter. What is S.R.K. (dry reef stones) stone?

Holly

This is Dry Reef Rock, meaning pieces of reef that have been broken off and dried out. This can be the base for your reef; you need about 5-10 kg of Live Rock, which consists of pieces of reef that have been broken off and delivered in vacuum bags, containing various bacteria and small organisms... in general, it's the foundation for starting a marine aquarium.

If I lived in Kyiv, I would immediately visit the numerous marine aquaristics companies there and get answers to all my questions, plus bags with stones, sand, fish, corals, and everything necessary. And THEN I would start bothering people on the forums.

Joseph8592

Sorry, but you don't even have minimal knowledge. Therefore, it's better to spend a couple of months reading literature and forums. After that, you can ask questions, and believe me, if you have any, the forum members will definitely help. Good luck with your endeavors!

Here is a lot of everything.

I would also suggest that you start with literature. Read before bed Ova and Savchuk's "Reef Aquarium." For me, it's like a bedside book.

Sarah5423

Reading literature is a noble and rewarding endeavor, but it's not as scary as it's painted. Take it easy and don't worry; before you get into hard corals, your conditions will be quite sufficient.
