Well, just read the forum without offense. UV comes in types A, B, and C based on the hardness of the radiation, that's one. Two, even the hardest radiation doesn't penetrate more than 1.5 to 2 cm in water... So the conclusion is, why do you need it????

I'm not sure how much UV penetrates in water, but it definitely causes beautiful bioluminescence in many corals. I've seen it myself. I have 8 UV lights in my maxspect. 403nm. Although the Chinese call them True Violet.

It depends on the wavelength. The shorter it is, the less it penetrates. Ultra Violet (UV) has a wavelength of over 400 nm, which is not even Class A, but even milder. It does not have a bactericidal effect and penetrates water more effectively, so I don't see anything alarming.
