In Chinese, among other things, there are also particles of garbage.))

Michelle1662

This is instead of a ring reactor.

Leonard

The presence or absence of a product in open (and not only) sales does not reflect its quality, in my opinion. I have no reason not to trust the supplier. Let's stop the chatter and get to the point. Do you think an oceanarium and a dolphinarium are the same thing??? I followed the link, and you write that in freshly prepared water, calcium is 480 and KH is 11. I haven't been doing this for long, so I'm not always oriented... Did I misunderstand something?

Gary6376

The packaging of any salt manufacturer clearly states the parameters, the percentage composition of ingredients, etc. Just for curiosity, analyze freshly prepared water for Ca, K, pH, density, nitrate, phosphate, and then promote what you found, not what is written on the packaging.

David7773

The manufacturer can't say anything bad about their product. I don't argue that in freshly prepared water, these parameters exist. The situation with salt is such that calcium in the aquarium is likely precipitating, and with each water change, it increases, especially if there are few calcium consumers, which leads to issues with the parameters.

John3142

Max, I don't have just one jar, there are no issues with the parameters. Perhaps you have some other problems with the parameters.

Chelsea

I have problems, just like many others, that disappeared when I changed the salt.

Adam

I used Red Sea Coral Pro for a long time and I can't say anything really bad about it. Calcium does indeed spike over time (the manufacturer itself says that it is in the salt with a reserve). Now I use this salt as a substitute in combination with Tetra's (one part Red Sea, two parts Tetra).

Tracey

If it's not a secret, what salt are you using now?

Jeffrey

So I didn't mix the salt that way either. It was an osmosis issue. Calcium was above 600 over time. Maybe the batch differs from batch to batch - that's also possible.

Mitchell7972

I am from many.

Michele9664

I started with Red Sea regular - there was almost no sediment. Then Red Sea Pro - there was a lot of sediment (7 kg bucket), I can't say about calcium - I didn't measure it. Now I'm using Tetra - there's no sediment, in my opinion, it's better than Red Sea. P.S. The sediment in Red Sea depends on the batch - sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't; there's a topic about this on the forum. I haven't used the Chinese one. P.S. You can start with Red Sea (it's cheaper), and then switch to whatever people prefer. I read on the same forum about aquariums that have been running on Red Sea for several years.

Stacey4437

I use TM, no questions at all, I try KZ periodically when there is no TM. Salt is not something to save on.

Jessica8898

Dear, no one is intentionally trying to misinform forum participants or take potential clients away from you. People have simply gathered here to share experiences in order to avoid making certain mistakes related to the maintenance and care of marine systems. I have realized for myself that it is not worth saving on a marine aquarium—there is no such thing as "good quality" at a low price. I have never heard anyone complain about Tropic Marin, Tetra, or Coralife. I am interested in reviews about Sichaemovskaya reef salt.

Marie5735

I used AquaVitro Siachem - it seems fine, just a bit cloudy for the first 12 hours. That's its characteristic. Still stayed with TM.

Nicole7122

Which one exactly?

Christopher3770

I listened to and read the debates on the forums, talked to people, and even bought myself a bucket of Tropic Marin Bio Active the other day.

Troy8808

I agree, there are none better for now.

Travis572

As it turned out, it exists, but it is not available for sale.

Jeremy3637

About the Reef.

Elizabeth

I also really need this information. The question is different. If you write that "the carbonate is barely 3," please specify the units of measurement, and it would be good to include the norm so that an ordinary person can understand the essence of the issue. I would say that in mille eq per liter, this is even a lot, but in dKH, it is practically nonexistent. This is misinformation... But the intention is certainly noble. I support it.

Michelle1662

That's how almost everyone measures in dKH. Does anyone measure in "mille eq per liter"?

Sarah7284

The standards for Red Sea salts are specified as mille eq per liter.

Joshua9847

I don't care what's written on the bucket (there's a lot written on the fence too), the main thing is that my KH is between 7-10, not 1-3. Such as recommended for keeping SPS (small-polyped corals) and LPS. In our country, it is customary to measure carbonate hardness in dKH, as in many European countries. And what kind of tests do you have that show Ca with such a large step (400-450-500)?

Stefanie9771

Somehow, the esteemed Julius stubbornly defends his salt "which is not available for sale, yet everyone buys it," and everyone complains))).

Veronica

I can't say anything bad about Red Sea Pro (I initially lacked calcium) except for the terrible dissolving; I've been running it through a spray for a day, and it helps little. I haven't noticed any foreign sediments, but I can't wait for it to be finished so I can buy TM...

Amanda

Everything is understood in comparison.

Debra6575

Tetra, for example, which is only about 7-10% more expensive, dissolves perfectly in about 15 minutes.

Jasmine

Before that, I used TM-Fish (but commented on it), it dissolved excellently and I liked it... I bought Red Sea by chance - it was a complete struggle with dissolving, clumps, and issues... maybe it was stored incorrectly... just "positive" reviews about Red Sea))). Probably, returns will start soon.

Paul

Yes, Tetra ine is not even more expensive than Red Sea at Arowana. Red Sea Coral Pro Salt 22 kg. 698.54 Tetra ine SeaSalt 20 kg. 512.62

Rachael

Like in the ad - why pay more - buy Chinese salt in Israeli packaging, which is even more expensive than "Germany")))

Kristin

The price for Red Sea salt is not biting. Red Sea Coral Pro Salt 7 kg - 198 Red Sea Coral Pro Salt 22 kg - 495 Red Sea Salt 25 kg - 545 .... China Reef Salt bucket 20 kg - 440 China Reef Salt bag 20 kg - 380

Tasha

If nothing has changed recently, then Tetra ine is the same as Instant Ocean (a brand of Aquarium Systems), a good salt, but the only thing is that you need to control the kH. When doing water changes or using calcium reactors, this is not a problem, but if you are salting the system, you might have to play around with baking soda. As for Red Sea, there was some order on how to properly mix the salt; I think you need to add the salt to the water and mix, not the other way around. Honestly, I used it once when IO was not available, and I didn't like the Red Sea salt.

Erica752

Both Instant Ocean for fish and Reef Crystals are fundamentally different salts from Tetra. I didn't like either the fish or the reef salt from Instant Ocean at all. But I really liked Tetra. It dissolved completely differently and didn't clump like Instant Ocean. But that's just my personal opinion. I've heard a lot of good reviews about Reef Crystals.

Danny

In its time, there were counterfeits of Instant Ocean since the salt was considered one of the best, and Tetra, when launching its brand, emphasized that it was salt from the same factory as IO. If nothing has changed, then it is the same salt with the same quality control, perhaps over time adjustments were made to the recipe for trace elements. In general, there is no bad salt on the market; any salt can be adapted to, as long as the quality of the batches is consistent and there are no counterfeits.

Nicholas

I took it from A. And in his office, I am 99.9% sure.

Tricia7885

Aquarium Systems has built a new factory in France. We have been using this company's salt for 11 years, and we have no complaints, although there are some minor issues during transportation, where sometimes customs puncture the bags (to check for drugs), and it clumps due to moisture. The solubility is very good when following basic rules (add a little at a time and stir immediately - a simple recipe). If not diluted properly in water, all synthetic salts, some more than others, can produce various issues (flakes, foam, clumps, etc.). Best regards, .

Kevin3114

"clump from moisture absorption" I have encountered such a package. When substituting with Tropic Marin salts, the inhabitants experience less stress than with Reef Crystal. But this is naturally my inexperienced opinion.

Christopher4108

What can anyone say about Seachem aquaVitro Salinity?

Brianna

oLegasy seemed to be satisfied with her, as if he was pleased with her.

Cynthia

I sat on it for quite a while. Good salt. Not worse than Tropic Marin Pro Reef. But probably not better either. If you buy it in bulk, it turns out to be economical.

Jeffrey

I have been using it for more than two months as a substitute for Tetra. Currently, the parameters have stabilized: Ca=425, Mg=1250, pH=8.1, Kh=9-10. I dissolve it in parts (not all at once). It dissolves without residue. At first, the solution is cloudy, but after a couple of hours of aeration, it becomes clear. I haven't used any others (besides Tetra), so I have nothing to compare it to. I should add that the refractometer reads 1.025.

James3382

The calcium level Ca=225 seems a bit low, or could it be an error?

Amy5468

You have an interesting test for Calcium. After dissolving Tetra ine SeaSalt in osmotic water, I have the following test results: Ca=420, Mg=1340, pH=8.2, Kh=9. There was no cloudiness in the solution, and there is no sediment. I dissolve the salt in a 20-liter container, and it dissolves perfectly in about 10 minutes. I have been working with Tetra ine SeaSalt for four years, and I only buy 20 kg buckets.

Michele9664

Typo, corrected.

Kayla7655

I provided aquarium data, not bucket data.

Cassandra1840

By the way, Tetra marine salt has a slightly bluish tint. Do they add dye to make the water look nicer? I've seen other salts, simpler ones, and they are pure white.

Patrick4439

When dissolving salt, be sure to read and follow the instructions for that salt! Additionally, a 3-hour aeration will be beneficial for any salt (prepare the seawater in advance, not just when I decide to change it and start mixing it now).

Heather

Tropic Marin Super has tried many salts, but this is the best. I recommend it.
