There are photometric attachments for setting the white balance in shooting conditions (i.e., with the light, color, etc. on). I also can't get the colors in the photos to match reality. But Fedor (inci) suggested something to me and provided a link. He also posted a couple of photos in his thread. He says it's a real solution to the problems. Additionally, Tanya () also wrote something about photometric matters and white balance. I'm planning to give it a try.

ooooo))) great! )))) It's insanely expensive! Throwing away that much money for a piece of metal? It can't cost that much for a camera or is it just the price for the name??? I'm not willing to pay for the name! And the warranty is only a year? Or even less... (you buy it for the next few years, let's say for 5 years, while Royal has a 10-year warranty...) Max, you suggested an average camera at the price of Royal!!! And a good camera is even more expensive??? Terrible! It's strange that a penny is cheaper, but a camera for 1500 bucks is normal!!!

Someone visited you (I don't remember who) and posted quite decent photos of the fraggles. I am a fan of the SONY brand, but not their cameras. I personally bought two of them and didn't like them at all. Moreover, I print in my city at a lab and see which cameras are better, draw conclusions, and recommend them to everyone. SONY has two downsides: 1. There is no sharpness like on CANON. 2. The software is designed in such a way that it boosts contrast and colors, especially towards yellow, to make the photos appear brighter than what you see with your eyes. For example: you shoot gray grass, and it turns out green. CANON doesn't have this issue; what you see is what you get.

Joseph1346

I'm not selling them to you, you asked what you need and I offered you options, and you're starting to act smart again. You can buy a Canon EOS 5D k II body with an EF 24-105 lens if you have some extra cash.

Ray... In our conditions, it's not realistic to set the white balance... all the stands are heavily illuminated with blue lights... Do you need macro shots? Would it be better to choose based on them?

Angela

I think they offered you macro lenses.

Shawn

that's how they are... you'd better write technically how and what to set on the camera!

Breanna9982

Everything is illuminated with blue lights. Setting the white balance in these lighting conditions will provide colors close to reality. I haven't tried it myself, but I will when I get the chance. I'll tell you more about it later.

Natalie

I already answered for Max as always... You set the dial to R and shoot in RAW, and believe me, you'll immediately feel the difference.

Joseph8592

Sorry, read the camera manual. Just like you told me when I couldn't set up the VorTech for a week, even though I bought it from you.

Brandy1134

I agree about Canon - THE BEST! But I choose Sony because of the availability of Minolta lenses. We shoot in RAW and then in Photoshop we try to get closer to natural.

Amber6362

I tried, I will try again.

Joshua448

Then try playing with the lenses; the focus is practically absent in all your photos.

Timothy

The topic is interesting... I think it should be moved to general questions, otherwise we seem to have forgotten about the delivery.

Joseph2576

You read my mind. Let's end the argument about the "Regions," Uncle "FEDOR" will come and clean up your topic, because you really started to mess things up. We need to open a topic about photography in General Questions.

Sara

Focusing on macro shots is a well-known problem. You need to use a smaller aperture, but then the shutter speed increases, and I won't even mention the need for a tripod and good lighting for the subject. But these are all basic truths.

Kathryn514

Here is the post I mentioned. Is there a difference? P.S. I found another article right away. I'll read it now too.

Christopher4125

Very little light. You can still play around with the exposures.

Jacqueline5976

Even these photos are better than what you usually post. There really isn't enough light here, and no matter how hard you try to set the exposure and aperture, nothing will work.

Stacy6866

Why squeeze the diaphragm so much? Eights will be enough. Set it to f8 1/4. What is the price of this device Sun Power 4x24 w?

Caitlin3279

we post photos after shopping, we bring the colors as close to natural as possible I didn't understand this, not to try? It won't work anyway? Or is there something else? Share the information!

Daniel132

the colors after processing are nothing like the natural ones...

Melanie

I'm again for Max. The light is very low; by stopping down the aperture, you increase the depth of field but decrease the lens's light transmission, which makes everything dark. In this case, you need to increase the exposure time even more, as the lens doesn't have enough time to capture the dark areas on the sensor.

Sara4035

I don't see them in person, but it turned out beautiful.

Alec9378

I think the main thing is not the beauty of the photo, but the real colors! Isn't it true?

Joe

Well, it's still better than all the blue corals; you just need to lighten it in the shop to a certain point.

Eric

so everything turned blue for you... plus there are some incorrect colors...

Andrew9581

If it is necessary to make the entire depth of the aquarium sharp, it is better to shoot with a telephoto lens from a distance, as macro photography does not allow for simultaneous photographing of multiple objects.

Danielle9144

Maybe you could try taking some more photos? I really want someone to have a proper catalog and price list with pictures. I understand that it's a hassle, but I think it will be a big plus for you in the future.

Mario

Of course, we will try! Everything will be ready soon... the negotiations with Deltek took a whole day...)))

Mike

I'm currently figuring out my recently acquired Canon. So far, I can't really understand much; after 8-10 shots, it says "change the batteries"... And the photos leave much to be desired...

Anthony4281

This kind of nonsense often happens with batteries, but what are you using?

Elizabeth

Very interesting topic, I plan to switch from a point-and-shoot to a more serious camera in the future. But as it has been noted: if you don't understand a point-and-shoot, a DSLR won't help either.

John5528

The photos were taken on a D80, with a photo camera, a lens from a photo enlarger, and a cheap auxiliary flash Unipak.
