• Marine aquarium!

There is a 27-liter aquarium (30*30*30), and I am thinking of making it a marine tank! Please advise me on what equipment is best to get. Is a protein skimmer necessary? Is a sump needed? What equipment should I have? What kind of livestock can fit in there? I am very interested in clownfish; can I keep them in this volume?

Erin2730

With this volume, neither a penny nor a sump is needed. The biochemistry of the water should be maintained with weekly water changes. You can add an actinia - Entacmaea quadricolor and a couple of small clownfish.

What equipment do you recommend? A hang-on filter? Do I need a pump? I'm planning to use the Hydor Deflector FLO? - here! And what about chemicals?

Suitable for fillers such as anthracite, coal, etc.

So much has already been written about this. For example, check out this recent article with pictures.

Hanging filter for anti-phosphate, coal, etc., flow pump for 400-500 liters, sea salt substrate Light - 3 T5 at 8 watts will be suitable. Hydrometer Osmosis or you will have to buy distilled water at the pharmacy or you can ask someone for some water. Tap water is not suitable. 3-4 kg of live rocks Livestock - You can fit 2 clownfish. I wouldn't add an anemone in such a volume. Strombus, hermit crabs, ophiuroids, zoanthids, parasitic anemones, and many more...

Thank you very much! And to you too!

Horse anemone (strawberry) Bulb anemone - won't do?

Rodney7316

Entacmaea quadricolor - Bulb Tentacle Anemone - If you mean it, then it will do.

Sandra7004

Yes!!!! Thank you! Everything is ready to go!!!

Amanda5586

Good luck! We are waiting for the report!

Tonya

Thank you!! Just keep in mind that this will be gradual! And what about chemistry and salinization?

Joseph1346

Can I message you privately?

Alejandro

Will the filter fit or not? If not, please advise!

Karen

and the pump?

Crystal

To be honest, it's nonsense, I tried it and there was no effect. As for this, it might work, but it could be a bit too much since the volume is small.

Judy

Which filter do you recommend?

Jeremy3637

Can it be like this?

Joshua9847

Which of these is the best?

Andrew4194

Then it's definitely better this way.

If only I knew where to buy the T5 Lamp, Jebo Coral Blue Light, 8W, 29 cm. As for the T5 Lamp, Jebo Super Light, 8W, 29 cm, 19.86, there are no problems, but for the actinia, 6500K will be insufficient.

Mario

Of course!

Courtney4094

What problems? I've already bought from the bird a dozen times, and a Jebao for 10,000k 8 watts and a Jebao Coral Blue. 35 pieces. If anything, I'll give you the contacts.

Bethany

For such a volume, it would be good to use LED lights. For example, 4 pieces of 10 watts each. Two to four white and two blue. Not long ago, we conducted experiments, and the aquarium looks just great!

Steven757

The problems are only remote... I'm a little out of Kyiv... I would appreciate any help and contacts if you can send them.

and me!!!
