• Scratching in the aquarium

  • William5838

The situation is as follows: Mainly at night, often around 2-3 AM, there is a periodic grinding noise (like someone scratching a plastic drain grate with a nail. Or like a nail on perforation, but louder). I thought it might be a snail or a pump - but why only at night? The "cyclicity" of the sound is uneven. Could some little monster be gnawing on stones? P.S. It's definitely not a snapping turtle or anything else - that one is busy with its own business from 11 PM to 1 AM.

Is there a hedgehog?

Wendy

Are there catfish?

Joseph591

No. I have the rhinoceros in another aquarium.

Sandra7004

As far as I know, he has a sea. (Are there catfish?)

Emily

Ah, well, I didn't look.

if there is a nutcracker - "scotinus" - then it's probably him. the bastard didn't let me sleep at first, a snake. if there are nighttime voltage drops - then my pumps sometimes crack like that. until you restart or turn off the rattle.
