• MG lamps, studying demand.

  • Amy9618

Gentlemen, I am studying the demand for such fixtures: Specifications of the fixture: Length 120cm Metal Halide Light 250W*2, PL65W*4 Bluemoon LED*6 With Fan. It is interesting because the ballasts for the metal halide lamps are external. Three fans are built into the top cover. It is equipped with 250W DE/15000K metal halide lamps and double compact actinics PL65W/12000K. The total power is 750W. Reflectors are polished aluminum. I won't disclose the price yet, but it will be at the level of a similar Sun Sun.

Judy

Send the photo here and tell me the price.

John3187

price?

Jacob4800

I am saying that I am only studying the demand. The price will be at the level of analogs from Sun, plus 10/20%.

Veronica

Who would ask without a price? If the components are like in SAN, what's the catch? I'm actually interested in 120 cm. How much does it cost?

Scott9892

The length is 120 cm - is it final, or can there be options?

Deborah2682

I am interested in 90 cm, what is the configuration, price, and photos if possible. Thank you.

Jason9385

24" is 60 cm.

Angela6489

For those who are out of the loop. I wasn't asking about the standards.

Alexandra

Well, something around that, 65 cm seems to be the dimensions of the body.

David7773

Basically, I'm interested in 36W compact actinics.

Nicole2404

But I wasn't talking to you at all. I was talking to Yuri.

Amanda5586

Well then, sorry.

Breanna9982

Compact lamps of 36W, 21 inches long, i.e. 52 cm.

Kimberly4253

If that's a question, then yes.

Nancy

A good light fixture cannot be priced at the level of SunSun. The lamps and ballasts there are disposable. If you equip the fixture with quality lamps and ballasts, the price is unlikely to be comparable.

Matthew

No, it was a friendly reminder. The material needs to be mastered. The length of the compacts at 36W is 16 inches, i.e., 40 cm.

Jessica

I understand that replacing the lamps and ballasts with branded ones (mostly made in China) is a matter of personal preference, so to speak.

Jeremy8404

Pavlik, I understand that people are concerned about the internal ballasts under compact lamps. However, as many serious suppliers of electrical equipment have assured me, even the Chinese produce sufficiently high-quality ballasts for lamps with a power of over 18W. The quality of these ballasts is satisfactory. As for external electromagnetic ballasts, they can certainly be replaced with purely electronic and even dimmable ones, for example, Luek™. The cost of such a system will naturally increase, but it will still be significantly lower than the analogs from Giesemann, for instance.

Andrew9581

How to say, or rather how lucky it is.

Christina9947

Well, the most pressing question is: "Who is the manufacturer?"

Michelle104

A good range of sizes. More photos from different angles would be great.

Jenny

I won't hide it - the manufacturer is China. Photos later.

Melinda2740

Well, that's obvious. I mean TM.

Curtis9143

It's strange that none of the global manufacturers combine MG with compacts. MG always comes with T5, and compacts are completely out of place here. The Chinese colleagues have overcomplicated things. Everything is clear here, both in terms of quality and components. The price will be the deciding factor. If the price is acceptable, there will definitely be demand.

Vincent

It's hard to convey the quality, but this is currently the best of its kind that the Chinese are making - very decent quality of housings and reflectors. The price will also be affordable.

Jamie3553

The lamp is interesting. The LEDs look nice. It won't be superfluous in the market, at least as an alternative to San-San. However, there are a few points that I don't like. 1. Small reflector for MH lamps. 2. It's somewhat problematic to find compact fluorescent lamps of the required spectrum. P.S. But still, it needs to be tried out, to feel it with your hands.

Breanna9982

The beauty of it is that these guys can easily and flexibly adapt to the demands of our market. If we need T5s, they will provide them. As for the reflectors - yes, they are not deep, but compared to the SanSano ones, it's just night and day.

Noah1632

Can you specify the brands and trademarks of the lamps? Apparently, the lamps are also from China?

Eric8832

The Chinese metal halide lamps shone quite well in the San-San fixture. Right now, I have one 250W Chinese MH lamp, and I haven't noticed any negatives. I'm considering buying a few more Chinese MH lamps.

Denise

I will receive the sample 24" light fixture at the end of March.

Jason

What are the mountings for this light fixture, and what is the total weight? 180cm - 72" - 250WDE*3 + 96W*4 double compact + 8 LEDs for the moon + 3 fans. Total power 1134W.

Wendy8540

The lamp can be placed on the aquarium using legs or hung from the ceiling with a standard pendant, like those on Aquamedic or SanSan. The weight of the lamp is 20 kg.

Michelle1505

The 36" is interesting. When ordering, please notify me privately. Question - are the timers, ideally separate for each type of lamp, not mentioned or are they not there?

Jason

There are no timers in these lights - just separate channels.

Nicholas5194

In simple terms: So everything can be connected to the timers?

Katie3017

Yes, you need to join.

Kimberly3727

What is the approximate price of a 24-inch light fixture? MH+ compacts or T5?

Cassandra7840

Additional question: can they squeeze the second MG in here?

Patricia1746

No, the MГ will not fit. The case also contains compact EPRA.

Joseph8592

Finally got this light fixture: 180cm - 72" - 250WDE*3 + 96W*4 double compact + 8 LEDs for the moon + 3 fans. Total power 1134W. Replaced the compacts with 8 T5 39W bulbs (I was a bit slow on that). Didn’t consider the plug standards((, but overall the first impression is very good)))

Caroline1599

How is the lamp at the moment, your impressions and a photo if possible.

Noah1632

Three out of eight ice lights and one electronic ballast for MH arrived non-working; apparently, the fixture doesn't handle the flight well. There are MH lamps with 20000K, one with a blue tint and two white. Eight T5 at 39W seemed a bit insufficient; they don't have 80W.

Tracy

Well... I sympathize...

Melissa2062

a real scam...

Joshua3019

What kind of lamp is it, which brand? And who is the supplier of such a product?

George5104

I don't think the Chinese "scammed" us; it seems like there was just bad luck with the delivery, a large-sized cargo sent via economy class. The company in China was founded in 2009 by Americans. So I'm ordering two more electronic ballasts from them (already with a reserve). The LEDs are cheap here, and I wanted to replace the metal halide lamps with Sylvania anyway.

Sarah7284

It's interesting to think about how it had to be thrown to break the power supply and even two of them and scare the LEDs. He was probably dropped from a plane, like humanitarian aid to African tribes.

Thomas

The LEDs really failed. As for the electronic ballast, it had to be repaired, and I added another 140 to the cost of the fixture for the repair. Now everything works!

Chad9037

I can't understand why there are such expenses and so much effort. We all criticize China, but we still buy from there ))))) There are also American brands that are much better in quality than this one, where nothing needs to fall apart. For example, Current USA, if you order the non-European version that is meant for export, it can be quite affordable.

Denise

The non-European version is designed for 110V/60Hz.

Darrell5975

There are a lot of converters sold on eBay.

Kendra2262

Another link is added to the lighting chain. Reliability and mean time between failures are lost. And then, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the "export" version right away than the "American" fixture plus adapters?

Keith7534

Reliability won't change, believe me. Unless, of course, you consider a cheap Chinese converter. Regarding pricing policy, let me give you a simple example from the U.S. (not Europe): a 36-inch Cur USA costs 450, while the European version is 755. Plus, let's say the converter is 100 and delivery is 70. Do the math yourself. And don't forget about the tax on the cost. Also, the quality of products made for the domestic market in the U.S. greatly exceeds that of export options.

Lee

Finally received the 250W 15000K light fixture with 2*65W dual compact bulbs and 8 moon LEDs. Good reflector for metal halide. External electronic ballast for metal halide, built-in cooling fan, 4 separate channels for light/cooling activation. I will post a detailed photo report with the price soon. The first impression is very good, although it's on Gizman, of course.

Jeffrey2277

How many light fixtures have arrived?

Jessica8898

so far only one, but it's not a problem if it needs to be brought

Danielle

Is it possible to have one at 250W and how much will it cost? What color are the LEDs? Blue or white?
