• freshwater fish in the sea

This is what people do. An interesting experiment. Yesterday I received issue 2-3 of the magazine AQUATERA. I was pleased with the articles. The issue features an article about the 11th International Exhibition "AQUARAMA." This article describes an aquarium by the company GEX, where freshwater fish (goldfish) and marine fish (clownfish) cohabited. The secret is "magical water," created by a certain Mr. Yamamoto. What does everyone think about this? What could the secret be, or is it just simple adaptation?

I don't think there is any "magic water." It's probably just a simple adaptation. The question is: why is this necessary? Why keep goldfish with amphiprions?

This article also states that this water opens up a wide range of its use for treating diseases. I wonder what the chemical composition of such water is. It seems to me that certain components of the water are replaced by inert substances in relation to both fish, but do not disrupt the structure of the water in terms of its properties.

It is interesting how long the "magical" seawater will last under the pressure of goldfish droppings?

I don't know about the goldfish, but I somehow decided to treat the molly fish with salt. I added table salt about five times! The RED SEA was resting when I measured the salinity, but the mollies didn't care at all!

Small flounders 8-10 cm long live perfectly in a tropical marine aquarium; mine lived for a year and a half even though they were caught in freshwater.

A person conducted an interesting experiment, they were insulted and poked...

Reading this, my heart almost stopped. I was lucky, it didn't fly into my garden.

So this is not for you, it's about the topic in the link, it is closed, that's why I wrote here.

Hello everyone! Has anyone tried keeping glass basslets in seawater? This is one of my favorite fish, and I'm thinking of putting it in a Black Sea shrimp tank. Best regards.

Paul

I think if we desalinate the shrimp tank to 10 parts per thousand, the perch will survive, and nothing will happen to the shrimp.
