Look, here is the link!

Gabrielle5053

Thank you very much, we will read and study.

Debra

You’re welcome!

Tina

I also plan to make the aquarium fish-oriented, meaning I don't want to focus on the reef (since I think it will be much more difficult for a beginner).

Jeffery

What fish do you plan to stock? Added in 1 minute If you need any help, let me know!

Amanda

Of course, it's nothing. To be honest, after reading the forum, I was afraid they would send me straight to search. (although that's probably what will happen))) Added in 2 minutes Surgeons, clowns, and angels. Can you tell me how they will coexist in this volume?? But first, we need to set up a reef aquarium (a small one) and make sure everything is in order, and then we will choose the fish.

Joseph8842

If needed, I can post more! If you have questions, message me privately or in the group! Added after 1 minute List how many pieces of each type!

Christopher3770

As for the surgeons, I still don't know if they will get along with other species in such a volume. I was planning on about 6 clownfish, a couple of angels, and surgeons (maybe butterflies instead of them), and I think that would be it. Plus some invertebrates. I'm also curious about how fish like butterfly angels will feel in such a volume, especially in a corner tank.

Joseph8592

Surgeons and angels cannot be placed in such a volume unless you are, of course, a torturer. A couple of clowns and chrysipters can still be added, or some wrasses.

Jill9137

I don't recommend surgeons; if you want to get angels, it depends on the type. There are territorial peaceful ones, and there are those that don't fit in the size of your aquarium! As for clowns, you made the right choice, they're great fish!

Travis572

So butterflies, surgeons, and angels are out of the question. I was hoping for at least a couple of them. But let's hope that in a couple of years, there will be an opportunity for larger volumes. I'm just afraid that I won't be able to handle 300 liters. Thank you for your help with the fish, but right now the questions about the equipment are more relevant, since the fish will be launched, at best, in a month or two after the aquarium itself is set up.

Michele

You can take a pair of blue-yellow ones; they are even more suitable in terms of size and behavior!

Nancy

Clowns are the dream of an idiot, and my half also wants a mute))) What kind of angels could fit such a volume?? I would at least like a couple, but so that they wouldn't feel cramped there.

Kristin

The sun-yellow centropyge has a maximum length of 11.5 to 12.5.

Susan

Blue-yellow, I apologize!

Ricardo7341

Cool, but will he not chase away clowns in such a volume?

Sarah

Start with a question about the aquaculture budget!!!!!!!!

Michael5242

The budget for the aquarium is 1000 currency units. If it can't be done for 1000, then 1500, maybe more, but for now, I plan to stick to 1000. We'll see how it goes, as this isn't something that can be done in a week or two.

Melissa2062

OK.

Joseph9057

For the sea, it's very little. You need to start with at least 2000.

Kendra2262

And I feel the same way.

Kimberly4253

I hope you understand that a marine aquarium is not the same as a freshwater one! And before introducing the first inhabitants, you need to wait at least 3 weeks!!!! If you can't wait, you can start with damselfish, as they can tolerate significant fluctuations in water parameters. If you're interested in my suggestion about damselfish, here's the link! Added after 38 minutes Of course NOT, they are very peaceful fish!!!

Diana8604

Thank you for the link, we will read it, but I will repeat that right now fish are not the main thing for me, I need to set up the aquarium first, and then think about the fish. As for the last sentence, to be honest, I didn't understand it, what is it about?

Daniel4967

About the blue-yellow centropyge!

Allison

Now it's clear. ))

Kellie

How to understand: do I need to set up the aquarium first?

Bonnie

I advise you: after you finish choosing the aquarium and make your decision, do this!!!! Put in the substrate, fill it with water, install the filter, heater, and compressor, and let them run for about two weeks. This way, the filter will process the water, the heater will warm it up, and the compressor will oxygenate it, so that the water parameters stabilize. I remind you that marine fish are very sensitive to fluctuations in water quality!!! I recommend that you first introduce the pomacentrids if you like them!!! After a week, start adding other inhabitants to the aquarium.

Lee

I basically thought so too, but I'm preparing for the fact that the time it takes to prepare the water for settling will be longer.

Jennifer5784

You are right, I told you everything at a minimum.

Todd8452

This is not correct, or rather not entirely correct. First, we fill and salt the water and start the equipment, then we mix it for about two days. The next step is to lay down the live rocks, and then we add the substrate. We conduct tests for ammonia, and when it reaches 0, we can slowly introduce the animals.

Courtney

I agree with every word. Only in this order and no other way.

Kimberly

Please recommend the right testers.

Joseph8842

Regarding money, I think I can manage just enough. I went around the shops in Luhansk, and they don't really say anything clear there (as far as I am a novice in this matter, I have the impression that the consultants have only seen the sea in pictures). Maybe I just didn't come across knowledgeable people; the selection is practically zero (but there is still hope to find people in Luhansk, if you know anyone, please recommend). I read information and have started to understand a little, but I still have a lot to read. If you know anyone who makes aquariums, please share their contacts.

Lauren

I have seen posts from Luhansk on the forum. Please make a separate post - people will definitely respond. Don't focus too much on the stores. I believe there are only two decent ones in Donetsk - M.A. (Marine Aquarium) on Huriv and A. If you have the chance, stop by them - they will definitely help, although you will spend money, especially at M.A. (Marine Aquarium). With some experience, I think you will be able to do everything yourself. You can buy livestock either from Tkach or from A. The phone numbers for both are on the forum. I recommend getting equipment from A - it's cheap and reliable. Sasha makes really cool stuff. That seems to be everything. The main thing is to prepare your money.)))

Todd8452

Thank you, I have already created a separate thread.
