You wanted to say a lot...

Put one 150-watt spotlight and don't worry - that's enough.

James5103

We need to start with the wildlife - what invertebrates are there?

Debbie3587

20k - definitely. There won't be much.

Thank you, I'm afraid to fry... the inhabitants of the apartment - top floor, tin roof, greenhouse ( Thank you! I want the bugs not to "starve" ))) Low budget Thank you!!! I will set it to 20k)... will I have to use tempered glass to block ultraviolet light so it doesn't burn?

Nicole7122

One will be enough for the head on 150!!!!!

Alyssa6727

20K is correct - the fluorescence of 20K is incomparably cooler than that of 14K. And health matters too. Regarding UV - do you have a lamp without glass? If it's homemade and without glass, then you probably will have to. Not so much for protecting the animals from UV (no lamp can compare to the Sun, and the penetrating ability of hard UV in water is low), but rather for protecting the heated metal halide from inevitable water splashes.

Phew.. then the second one will be for sale) Thank you so much!! Thank you, I really appreciate it, otherwise it was completely unclear which (and where) bulbs to look for)
