Oh Pavlik-Pavlik, you mix the hydroxide with water as instructed - you get milk - great - let it settle - and pour the settled solution into the auto-fill bucket - and then into the aquarium.
You can skip the settling process - just add the powder to the container - add water to it - add water as you use it, and pour the solution into the aquarium after filtering out the insoluble sediment.
After a week or two, you can add more powder or do a replacement. Look here - you can download the instructions below - read it, and if you figured out the skimmer, I think you won't have any problems with this.

I poured this "milk" into the automatic refill... the hydroxide settled at the bottom and the rest of the water was supposed to be added correctly...

Yes, chalk is CaCO3, which dissolves very poorly in regular water.
But if you pour a chalk solution directly into the aquarium (in portions) where there is carbonic acid (CO2), the cloudiness disappears in 3 hours.
