Hello!
In my opinion, the most important section is missing, where each forum participant can showcase their aquarium, similar to the "My Marine Aquarium" section on the AquaLogo forum.
Please note that this is the most visited section of the AquaLogo forum.
Also, it is very inconvenient that there is no option to upload photos in one's own thread, and posting in the photo gallery requires double the work, which significantly hinders the informativeness of this forum. Please consider the possibility of allowing at least one photo with a resolution of up to 200 KB; this would already be a significant step forward.

I would gladly implement the ability to insert photos, but for some unknown reasons, this function is not working. I can't understand why; we didn't find any errors in the code. It works on another host, but not here. However, I am waiting for the release of the new version. Maybe that glitch won't be present there.

Well, let's wait for the new version, and please consider adding a section "My Marine Aquarium" or something similar; this doesn't require a new version of the program.
Heather
I agree. I will do it.

Image upload test.
It works. To upload images, you need to click the "paperclip" in the message creation window (if at the bottom of the page, you need to click "Advanced mode" and then the paperclip). In the opened window, you can specify the path to up to 10 images (if necessary) and upload them all at once. Good luck. As for the new section - I will create it today.
Leonard
I created the section "Marine Aquariums of Forum Members." You can also publish photos there. Thank you for the advice; I think we should do the same for the freshwater section.

Greetings to all forum participants!
I want to thank the forum administration for listening to the opinions of the participants.
Regarding the photo, I don't understand what the paperclip is for; I only see the icon to insert an image, but it only allows you to specify the image URL, and you can't upload it from your computer?
Or am I missing something?
Anthony7814
Have the acknowledgments been abolished or is it temporary? (Does it seem like a rollback to the old engine? The quick reply in Opera has worked.)
Erin
I apologize, but there is no paperclip. Maybe I, as a user, lack some access rights? I've checked all the options and can't find anything. P.S. I'm absolutely sure that there is no paperclip in the extended mode; after the standard set of emojis, there are only the "undo" and "redo" buttons, and that's it.
Jason5071
I don't have a paperclip either...
Cynthia6578
I just thought that since everything started working like before, the engine is old. Thanks again for the pictures and the "quick response."
Now the quick response doesn't work. It's a pity.
Phillip9722
You are probably looking in the wrong direction. The paperclip is to the right of the white smiling face.
David7773
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I realized that I restored the "Thank you" option - apparently after that. I'll try to figure it out later. As for the pictures - it seems there is something with the permissions. I'll check it now.

Check.
Scott9892
Hooray, it worked! I uploaded a photo from my aquarium for testing.
Tasha
Hooray!!! Everything is there and everything works!!!

Hello everyone!
I have a request to move the topic "Black Sea Aquarium" to the new section "Marine Aquariums of Forum Members" if possible.
Best regards.

Hello!
I have a question for the forum administration. The essence of it is why there is such a small limit for the photos that forum participants can upload to their topics, only 3 MB.
This is even less than the size of the photos I previously uploaded to this forum.
In fact, such a micro-size allocated to forum participants for photos does not allow them to develop their topics, and all the heroic efforts of the forum administrators recently made to allow photo uploads in their topics are rendered pointless by this limitation.
A limit of 30 MB would be understandable, but not 3 MB.

I'm sorry, but unfortunately, the forum exists on my personal funds, and it doesn't bring anything in return. I am not able to increase the hosting size by that much. As a designer, I can responsibly state that 3 megabytes can hold about 60-70 quality (of course, for the internet) photos. Isn't that enough?
There is a solution: if we all chip in for the server (350-400 USD), I can set it up with the provider, and it will only host the forum, which, firstly, will increase its speed by four times, and secondly, we can add a lot of services.
Breanna9982
So what's the question? Give me the card number, everyone can send 5-10$, I don't think anyone will be too worse off.
Raven7170
It's worth it for a holy cause!

Question:
1) Have I lost the ability to insert images? Working through the gallery is inconvenient and consumes a lot of traffic.
2) Where should I send the money?
Emily
I didn't expect people to respond. Let's do this: we'll announce a fundraising campaign, and if we get at least half of the amount, I'll publish the account for donations. Otherwise, it might not end well: we could raise about 100 dollars and that's it. I won't be able to add 300, and those 100 will just hang in the air. I'll create a topic now.

- made a topic

3 is not a lot, but we only got 1. We had to compress the photos to a small mess, and we've already used 1 megabyte, so add more - the work has just begun.
Matthew1280
I'll check at work. I'll definitely add it.
