Everything works, but the lamp itself is not quite suitable for illuminating the aquarium, and the bulb needs to be replaced with a 10000K one instead of the included one.

If you are friends with DIY enthusiasts, the result can be quite good, but if not, it's better to go for a factory-made one. A DIY project costs 200-250 less.

Well, it's clear that the lamp needs to be replaced. But can any fixture be used? What does "not quite designed for" mean?

Leslie

The main thing is that it matches in wattage, and also check the appearance to see if it can be attached on top. Or maybe it's worth saving up some money and buying a decent Atman light (already fully ready and with a lamp)?

David

Once, I had a factory one, but it all ended with a bunch of rust and oxidation getting into the water, so it's better to go for Atman or something similar, but they are more expensive—if you just want to pay for the name, then go ahead. Otherwise, Atman comes in several versions, so there is an option to choose, and there are no problems with the mounting.

I bought one like this for myself. (650) It comes with lamps (MH 10000K + actinic 12000K) and cables.

And now here it is - I will sell this lamp! It cost me 890. So I'm selling it. Yes, the lamp has not been used, it was only unpacked to take precise measurements for the stand. This is a hanging option, without any stands, as shown in the picture.

I would like to know the price of the MR1500 lamp and the address where it can be purchased.

Colleagues, due to the revival of this topic, many questions have come to the PS. I will answer here: - I sold the lamp, - I don't know the current prices, - I can't tell you where I bought it - I reached out to friends in Odessa, they "dug through" everything at the 7th kilometer and found my lamp based on the provided markings. - Such and similar lamps were with Shurik (contacts in the relevant topic).

Such lamps are available at "Arovana."
