Thank you for the advice! I was already thinking about the filter - I will sell it. The angel fish I have is from the "idea" of a saltwater aquarium. I wanted to give it a try. I will either sell it or use it for the setup. As for the lighting, everything is as you wrote. I will switch to T5, but for now, it will be 70W. There are 70L aquariums with 20W of light. Discus are growing and even breeding. MH is a distant idea. First, let's see what comes out with the LED and the simplest livestock. How is the issue of cooling the aquarium in summer resolved - with an air conditioner or a refrigerator?

Nicole

An air conditioner would be better for your aquarium. It benefits both the fish and the family.

One thing, though. To maintain 25 degrees in the aquarium, the family will have to live at 22, which is quite cold in the summer.

26-28 is not that much for the development of cyanobacteria..? That is, 25-26 in the room is already much warmer. PS At least the beer will stay drinkable longer.

Discosomas will live, but you won't be able to stick to just discosomas, I know from experience. You'll definitely get involved in something more demanding. So, sooner or later, you'll have to add light, although 70 will do for a start. The cooling issue is not resolved: when it's hot, I open the lid, when it's cold, I close it. On average, I keep it at 28 degrees. I haven't noticed any particular problems.
