For almost 2 years, I successfully and unsuccessfully fought this trouble. After that, I removed all the substrate from the aquarium because the dinoflagellates were only in the substrate. Apparently, the culprit was the detritus that accumulated in it. I placed about a dozen plates with briarium along the bottom (120*40 cm). Now the bottom is covered with Carolina and briarium. I'm satisfied.

Are all the indicators normal? I doubt it. The sand might be silted, but have you tried to increase the number of strombus? In one of the 400-liter aquariums, there was a similar issue; there were two strombus, and after adding four more, everything was fine in a week.

I have the same problem... in the morning there’s none, but as it gets lighter, it starts to grow, and by lunchtime, there’s such a carpet... I don’t know how to get rid of it yet. How to siphon sand? Are there any life hacks to avoid raising a cloud and preventing the tube from sucking in sand?

I was recommended this remedy. They say it's very effective. Today is the first day I've started using it. I'll report on the results later.

Are there any contraindications? Is anyone going to pass out?

I used this medication twice. It didn't help at all.

Good afternoon. How did the fight with Dino go? Did the medication help?

Crap... it didn't help.
