It gets clogged instantly! Especially when vodka is poured into the aquarium to combat nitrates - it gets covered with a bacterial layer in almost a day. For small aquariums with a sump, it might be useful, but for my 700 liters, it's completely unnecessary and just sits at home unused...

Heather6148

Thank you for your response. I have read that many people use it and are satisfied.

Spencer7805

Off-topic. It seems to me that shelves will be more in demand than "socks." In any case, I will be the first in line for a small magnetic shelf.

Christopher8654

Wow!!!! I was the first with the shelf proposal, I just messaged privately....

Stephen5841

I join in!!!

Kimberly2102

In my opinion, transparent shelves are better. Is there a possibility of using magnets, and how much more expensive would that option be compared to the suction cup version? The case with hooks doesn't work for me because there will be a lid with fans for cooling on the aquarium.

Chad231

I found the size of the plugs, waiting for your preferences regarding the shelf sizes.

Joshua9340

I can't say anything about the magnets for now; I need to find out the cost of the magnets.

Cassandra7840

I took a closer look and noticed that the shelves are indeed on suction cups))). From here, you can also "steal" the dimensions so you don't have to reinvent the wheel...

Joseph

Okay, I got it, I'm going to drink tea with honey, I think there will be some samples this week for treatment.

Anthony

Okay, I understand everything, sealing and magnets are not an issue... except that the price of one magnet is comparable to the price of a shelf... but if it's more convenient for you - okay, I'll think about it tomorrow.

Alyssa1438

How much will two holders cost?

Barbara

holder for a 4" diameter sock (branded copy) - 70 / piece. As the first buyer, you can get two for 100. If this works for you, send me a private message with the shipping address and the thickness of the glass (I made it for 10 mm, so it will fit anything smaller; if you need a larger size, I can make it bigger).

Diana7891

And the sock?

Johnny

You can also have a sock, I'll tell you the price a little later.

Bethany

The sock made of special neutral mesh fabric 200 - 250 microns with a diameter of 4 inches (~ 100 mm) and a length of 25 - 30 cm will cost around 60, maybe a little cheaper for a bulk order. If this is acceptable, please message me privately. Best regards, Alex.

Jerry

All of this is certainly very good! But in the end, it seems to me that the set is particularly attached to the factory price. We need to find a way to reduce costs... I don't mean anything bad.

Joshua3019

For now, yes, but the cost estimate is still approximate; I don't see interest from people, so I haven't worked it out in detail, but I think I can make it cheaper.

Tasha

Shelves similar to those in the photo for 10 and 20 places will cost 60 and 80, respectively, with suction cups; the details about magnets will be clear later. There will be a small discount for orders of 2 or more. The first two orders are 50 and 70, respectively.

Joe

Sure, I can make a stool, magnets, or hooks. I see that with so many people, there are just as many opinions—so let me know what you need, and I'll make it. Stools cost about the same, maybe a little less. As for hooks, well, the shelves are higher, and the holes for the suction cups remain; you can either use nylon thread with a plastic hook on top or I can extend the upper wall and bend it in a U-shape for the glass.

Andrew9581

I ordered large and strong suction cups, at least that's what the suppliers said; they say they will hold an elephant. They will arrive tomorrow, we'll see. I made myself a shelf with hooks for the spines and small tops, still thinking about magnets. And a holder for the sock. Any comments or suggestions?

Jennifer9100

My comment is similar to the previous speaker's - suction cups are evil, and sooner or later, there will be frags all over the aquarium. The option with magnets is the most preferable, while the hook solution is for small jars.

Angela6489

Thank you, your opinion is important to me. However, people use suction cup shelves, so I will make both types for the assortment, as well as ground stools. I tried 40 mm suction cups - I stuck them to a piece of 8 mm glass, placed a 12 kg dumbbell on it, and... lifted it! But to be honest, it was a bit scary, the suction cups stretched a lot.

Gregory9432

Dmitry, thank you for the comment. I agree with every word. The magnets are on the way, we have suction cups, let's leave the choice to the customer. The suction cups can be removed, and a nylon string with a hook can be attached through their holes to the aquarium glass. Or we can come up with something else. The only problem with the magnets is their cost. We want to make the shelves at affordable prices.

Sarah

Could you please let me know if you also have shelf brackets? If so, what size and price do they come in?

Brandi

Ladies and gentlemen, I leave this topic for discussions, while I will create a separate topic for the order of shelves and other items - Various shelves for plugins, plugins, cement, glue, etc.

Lori4746

Greetings. The plates are in the soaking process, the diameter of the plate is 30 mm, height 8 - 10 mm, legs 10 mm, height 10 - 12 mm. The top of the plate is covered with coral crumbs. They will be ready closer to the end of next week.

Angel2396

I added to the topic of selling shelves on magnets and hangers. Question about the plugs: What is better, Pure white cement? White cement mixed 50/50 with coral sand? White cement with coral crumb on top?

James4342

Thank you, I will take it into account.

Erin

So, plagi! I have read and tried a lot, made a bunch of samples, which will be given as gifts to shelf buyers. The material is aragonite concrete, derived from the English words aragonite and concrete, i.e., a mixture of fine white aragonite sand and white cement in a 50/50 ratio. Here are some of them:

Rodney

The question is whether coral crumb is needed on top? In my opinion, it will only interfere with the gluing... what do the professionals say? And this is already a finished product; I am currently working on the quantity and calculating the cost, which turned out to be not so simple.

Kellie

And one more question, I soak in osmosis, changing the water every day or every other day, depending. Is a week enough? Or two weeks for soaking? My (freshwater) tests see nothing, the water looks and tastes (I confess I tried) perfect.
