Should I use fum or silicone for the connection? If it's not a detachable joint, then use Cosmos glue plus.

There are practically no flat ones; you can look for options in garden stores, where you can find watering equipment, or order two metal tubes of the required diameter from a lathe and make a gasket yourself from a car inner tube by puncturing it.

I'm looking for something to clamp at the bottom to prevent leaking for the transfer, and a round one won't work. I don't really want to glue it with silicone, as I might need to disassemble it someday...

cast from silicone and cut to the desired size.

On the outside, it was tightened with a standard 3/4 bronze locknut, after applying sealant.

As a water specialist, I can say that such couplings are not designed for the installation of rubber sealing rings. It is possible to fit them, but that is "from the devil." For the proper functioning of the sealing ring, specially designed and prepared surfaces - flat surfaces or grooves - must be provided. This type of coupling is intended only (!) for installation (by thread) with a sealant:
- FUM (fluoroplastic sealing material);
- plant-based tow + special paste;
- locking sealants (not to be confused with window silicone).
