• the thread has tormented me

Anyone with experience dealing with hair algae, please advise. Almost the entire illuminated surface of the rock is covered with a BEAUTIFUL green carpet, consisting of two types: dark green and light green. It is gradually starting to suffocate the corals, wrapping around them and blocking the light. Zebrasoma, Solaris, and Trochus eat where I can't see it. I tear it off in places, but I can't do it everywhere, and it's not a solution. I thought the T5 bulbs had burned out, so I replaced them—no results. PARAMETERS: phosphate, nitrite, ammonium, and nitrate—ZERO!! Silicate and all other unnecessary things too. I have no idea what to do. Anyone with similar experience, please help!

PARAMETERS: phosphate, nitrite, ammonium, and nitrate-ZERO!! Silicate and all other unnecessary things too. That's right - filamentous algae consume nitrate and phosphate. To give advice, it's necessary to know all the information about the system and the aquarium's inhabitants.

I had a lot of thread, a whole bouquet from the reference book. I bought a cypria, a strombus, and trochus. In 2 weeks, they ate all the thread. Later, I had to give away the cypria because after the thread disappeared, it started gnawing on the zoanthids. Now there is no thread in the aquarium at all! Bare purple rocks, beautiful. And the nitrates are 25.
