• Please tell me what equipment needs to be purchased.

Good day to everyone. My friends have a restaurant and they want to set up two aquariums. One will have seawater where they want to keep lobsters and oysters, and it measures 150-50-60 cm. I need help and advice on what equipment to purchase. The second aquarium is a bit off-topic, but to avoid creating duplicate threads, it measures 120-75-50 cm and is for freshwater crayfish. If anyone can provide advice on what equipment to acquire for them, I would be grateful, as I have not dealt with these crustaceans and mollusks before. Thank you all.

Michelle

You are unlikely to receive advice. Those who are engaged in this will do it RIGHT.

Who is dealing with this? Lobsters, oysters, and crayfish will be purchased at the METRO store. I know they live in aquariums with seawater, and they thrive in low-temperature water, so a refrigerator will be needed. Do you really think that no forum member has encountered such inhabitants?

I will forward your request to a person whose company services supermarkets. In this regard.

I would appreciate it if you could suggest what to buy.

There won't be such a thing. This is business. Launch and maintenance. Imho.

At least how much money is needed for this equipment. Is it really a problem to suggest what equipment is needed? What is the purpose of the forum if not for people to share advice? We are in different cities.

I apologize, but couldn't you just Google it or call those who are professionals in this field? That's one thing. The second is that not many people here on the forum are interested in this; mostly, it's those who maintain a Marine Reef or an aquarium. One thing I can provide you with regarding this issue is links, where you will find answers to your questions and, most importantly, phone numbers for consultations. I think that's enough. Good luck.

A friend has such a system; I'll find out in the coming days and let you know. To be more precise, it was under maintenance, as far as I know the restaurant closed down and the equipment is just sitting there. I saw it, but I didn't pay much attention to the equipment; I only remember a huge refrigerator that maintained a temperature of about 14 degrees, it couldn't go lower because it started sweating due to the humidity from the temperature difference. There were such huge fish and various lobsters that I didn't focus on the equipment, and the aquarium looked like it was around 600-700 liters. I think there was a skimmer, but I'm not sure; I don't remember anymore.

What I said about breathing is very important; in Pyatigorsk, one shipment was almost completely lost.

Thank you. So, before putting them in the aquarium, do I need to remove the air from them?

not before, but during
