• To seal or not to seal?

  • Amy5468

There is an aquarium (photo below). The back compartment is divided almost in half. In the first compartment: two drain holes and a foam separator, then a partition that is adjustable vertically, with its lower part fixed and the upper part movable. In the second compartment, there is a return pump. Maybe I should seal the lower hole and glue in another partition that does not reach the bottom (diagram below). The green area indicates the hole I want to seal, and the red area is the partition I want to glue in. How does this option sound? I wanted to make the partition specifically to collect the film, like in Resanas, but I thought there might be stagnation near the bottom of the first compartment (where the foam separator is and where the lower hole will be sealed), and I need to create, I don't know how to express it correctly, well, let's call it an "overflow" (the red partition).
