Hi! Buy a pump for the mini tower, it's inexpensive, compact (relatively), or a Resun MD-30(40) pump.

Nicole2404

Does the AM pump type OR3500 work out of water? Because it always floated in my sump.

Charles894

It works! But Eheim is better; it really delivers what is stated in the specifications and will last longer than Aquamedic.

Natasha

Well, the Eheim will cost almost 2000, and the AM will be quite expensive for me as a dealer! In general, if they let me try the Haiduer - it's claimed to be 4 tons and priced at 390... We'll see if it's Italy or China.

Patricia

Is it possible to use a crane below water level?

George5104

No, a crane won't help with that. The aquarium is in the bedroom. The height of the stand is 90 cm. The osmotic storage tank (230 liters) is on the bathroom floor. I need to drain 200 liters from the aquarium into the toilet and then pump it back. If I do it by gravity, it will take a long time, and to pump it back... only a pump! But I've already gotten lazy and don't want to carry the pump, which is why I was looking for one with a reverse function.

Jacqueline6670

I hope you're not pumping it back from the toilet? Actually, I also want to set up a system like that so I don't have to run around with buckets. I need to change about 50-60 liters at a time, but still. I need to figure out how to choose a pump with hoses for water replacement. In theory, the AQUA EL 1100 l/h circulator pump would work, but how do I equip it with hoses and what distance can it handle?

Tammy2040

I bought myself an Italian one - it works well! I'm satisfied! But ideally, it is designed for immersion use (performance noticeably increases and there's no hassle with bleeding the hoses). The circulator turned out to be weak for me.

Amy5070

Can I have a link? I want to read the specifications. Where did you get the hoses for it?

Martin3206

Hoses were bought at the market - ordinary transparent PVC hoses. Then we boil a kettle and pour a cup of boiling water. We dip the end of the hose for 30 seconds and quickly put it on the pump fitting - this way the issue of mismatched seating sizes is resolved. A link to the pump? It might be a bit too powerful for 50-60 liters. It is claimed by the manufacturer to be almost 3 tons, although in reality it will be around 2 tons per hour.

Jason9385

Well, I would at least like to see the manufacturer; I will adjust the volume myself.

Jason

I got myself something like this. And in everything else, searching is key.
