Here is the link to get started. Read it if you haven't already.

I have already read this, thank you! I want to be more specific about my option; I noticed a keg like this and want to make a sample. Can you advise where to look for sizes? Is this equipment sufficient for such a volume?
Andrea6761
You can never have too much samphire, so 150-200 liters is fine, and I think such a price for that kind of container is expensive.
Katie3017
You are unlikely to find a decent foam roller for that price in 450 liters. Deltek makes excellent foam rollers; at least you won't want to replace it, and there will definitely be no hassle with them. The downside is that they are quite expensive.
Stephen5841
Is this equipment enough for a fish keeper, or do I need anything else besides a heater and UV? Where can I find diagrams with dimensions for the sump and aquarium, and how to arrange the drain pipes in it? I’ve looked through the forum, and there are many options. Please recommend the best one for my case! Thank you!

or this
There is a lot of information, read it and maybe you will take something for yourself.
Mark7376
As you were told, there are many options. However, you will have to think and make the decision on your own. Judging by the phrase, you haven't read anything. A lot more equipment is still needed.
Nicole2404
Help! What is the distance from the edge of the aquarium to the start of the Durso drain pipe hole? I estimated it to be about 45 mm??? The pipe is 3/4, and should I measure to the edge of the aquarium or to the edge of the reinforcement rib??
Christopher4125
Who has something to say about this pen?
Andrew9581
Thank you to everyone who responded. I met someone here who has been setting up marine aquariums up to 400 liters for a long time without a sump. I will be buying an internal skimmer for the aquarium, the Ferplast Bluskimmer 550, and I will try it as he suggested. This option seemed acceptable to me; he said that it should only be set up with live rock! I apologize to anyone I bothered unnecessarily; I'm just a beginner and couldn't figure out what to do based on what everyone said. If it doesn't work out, I will then set up a sump and will build a stand based on that!
Alejandro
I apologize once again to anyone I have bothered with my questions! In this thread, I will post photos and share my activities. Tomorrow I will go to order an aquarium!
By the way, what do you think, is it worth using special glass for the front panel and just using regular glass for everything else without overthinking it?
Randall7906
If you haven't ordered yet, think again about the overflow under the SAMP. It will be much more difficult to redo it later.
Andrew9246
I'm just planning to do it tomorrow, I don't think there will be a problem drilling the hole, I read somewhere that someone did it like that from a press. I have another question! I'm gathering equipment for the start, can you tell me what tests are needed, like various devices and tests? And where can I order live rocks?
Laura3673
Thank you for such a detailed response. They said they installed it on a 390 aquarium, but I couldn't find glass in our city. Maybe there is someone who makes such glass and ships to other cities?
Danny
unless it's an aerator... I think objectively, a skimmer like that won't handle more than 100-150 liters with fish and corals... there is such a concept as a populated reef and an empty one; an empty one might manage 390 liters, but I'm not even sure about a populated one at 200 liters...
Jesse
This pen is conditionally designed for 550 liters. You will have a 450-liter fish tank. It is advisable to choose equipment with a margin of 1.5 to 2 times. In my opinion, it's better to pay extra and get this one. As I understand, you will be starting without a SAMPA?
Nicole
I am redoing a 360-liter aquarium, it will be 120 cm long, 50 cm wide, and 60 cm high. I would like it to be longer, around 130 cm, but I'm not sure how to set up the lighting. Please advise where to buy live rocks (J.K.). I called Marchenkov, and 1 kg costs 200, but I heard it can be bought for 15-17 USD somewhere. I am also gathering equipment for the start; can you suggest what tests and devices I need?
Brent5588
Good live rocks cost between $24-26. Cheaper than $20 are soaked for two to three months dry reef rocks, like "revived" or low-quality live rocks (just boulders).
Read the topic about live rocks.
Check the tests here.
I have such a set of tests.
Ca, KH, Magnesium, Nitrate NO3, Phosphate PO4, Refractometer RHS-10ATC, pH meter, TDS meter. This is the set I have.

, and the best stone.
Danielle
Can you also provide your advice on where to read in detail about starting, beginning with adding sand, how to mix water (I have figured out about live rocks and dry reef rocks), what devices and tests are used for measurements, preferably with a step-by-step description of the process? I have searched the forum, but it's all a bit unclear. Please help, experienced and seasoned marine aquarium enthusiasts!
Wanda666
The book "Reef Aquarium" by authors Ov and Savchuk is available online. Everything is described in great detail.
John828
Each test has instructions for use. Since I only measure JBL, I can say that all instructions are available in Russian, and in tests where color comparison is necessary, there is a step-by-step graphic table, so there is no need to read the instructions, except perhaps to gain knowledge about the purpose of the test and the impact of the measured parameter.
Crystal4879
Sergey, are you overheated?
1. I'll give you the necessary devices as a gift.
2. Samp - you can take my first one - it's a gift.
3. I left about 5 kilograms of live rocks for you.
4. I'm giving you magnesium-calcium tests - it's a gift.
5. You can take my aquarium - it's a gift - everything is drilled and adjusted.
Just come over...

Question! I had an aquarium made from 10mm glass, 1200/60/55. Do I need to install braces? I was told that it's not necessary! Who has made such sizes without braces?
Nancy
I put in both ribs and a brace for myself, better to be safe.
Brandon4517
You don't need ribs or a brace - A. ov "Reef Aquarium" p. 13 first table from the top.
P.S. Ribs are one thing, but a brace greatly complicates life for both the reef and the owner.
Mitchell7972
If there are ribs and the water level reaches them, then the ribs will also need to be cleaned. So if there is a safety margin, it's better to make the aquarium without them. I have an aquarium with a water height of 46 cm (1200x40x50 former freshwater) made of 8 mm glass with ribs, and I don't know about 10 mm; maybe someone else can advise. Sanya was right about checking the table; all calculations are indicated there. The reef stones in my aquarium rest against the back wall. I left my wife to take care of the aquarium for a week, and now I hear comments that it would be better to have a freshwater aquarium.
Joseph1346
I filled the water, and the bend turned out to be 3 mm. Is that normal?
Laura3673
No, it's not okay. There should be no bending.
Brian6895
Very, very strange... with a 10 and such a length x height - glue the edges...
Kenneth2761
Seryoga, hi, I sent you a private message. If you don't call, I'll be upset.
Jacqueline5976
Gray - I told you and insisted that you take mine - especially since I gave it to you - it's tested, you got everything out of it yourself.
Seryoga - come over - it's even already washed.
About the glass and the calculations - I brought that as an example - regarding the 8, 1200x60x50, another software pointed it out to me - and other tables as well.
For a height of 50 and 120, a 10 just bent from the water... very strange - very, very...
Wendy2244
I checked the table and found that I have a 10 mm bottom, but according to the book, I need 11 mm glass. Now I don't know what to do; 40% of the aquarium is filled. (((
Crystal
There are different types of tables - I looked at mine and I see a 10.
Put pieces of acrylic at the bottom under the sand, for example - then it will distribute the point load from the stones evenly on the bottom. Don't use that grid you showed.
