What you specified are wave pumps, although they can be used as circulation pumps. So do you need a wave pump or just a flow pump? For your volume, Resun is more than enough.
Christopher4125
if you have some money, get the VorTech MP40w ES Proler Pump
Ricardo7341
The price difference of 4 times between VorTech MP40w ES and Boyu WM-4 will certainly reflect in their performance. If you have the money, it's better to get two 10s of VorTech for that volume. If you don't have the money, you can buy a SunSun box, and it will be fine too.

What is the essential difference between a diaphragm pump and a circulation pump?
Steven7574
The circulation pump operates in a constant mode, while the wave pump changes its mode according to the specified program. Therefore, the latter is more expensive, and in addition to the pump itself (usually 24V), a controller is also required.

What is better for marine life - a constant current or a variable one? And one more question: is it possible to manage with one powerful pump, or is it better to have two smaller ones placed on opposite sides of the aquarium?
Katie5500
Of course, two. One is placed behind the riff (usually a circulation one), the second is at discretion. There are many options here. The main thing is that there are no stagnant zones anywhere. It's a complicated question... I don't really know. It probably depends on the wildlife.
Jamie3553
In my opinion, the variable is like a wave in the sea! I agree with the second question.
Danielle
So if you don't think too long, can you get SunSun?: SunSun JVP-102B, 5000 l/h. 2 pcs?
Susan1358
2x2000 is more than enough.
Kimberly2102
Cheap and just right. 2 x 2000 will be insufficient.
Anne
Well, 2x3000. But 2x5000, in my opinion, is too much.
Maria
Install 2 pieces of SunSun JVP-101B flow pumps on magnets or suction cups (3000 l/h), 6 W, and it will be enough for such an aquarium.
Kevin3114
I won't have enough... I have almost the same dimensions and it costs: 2x2500 + 1x4500 + return 3000. And I want to exchange one 2500 tuna for some 5000-liter resin.
Janet5447
I highly doubt that the TUNZE 2500 blows worse than the SunSun 5000. I have a Koralia 3200, and it blows twice as much as the SunSun 5000.
Christopher
I also think that this flow is enough. I currently have a Hydor Koralia Evolution (2800 l/h) and a SunSun JVP-101B (3000 l/h) on my 420 liters, plus a return and a small pump (300 l/h) blowing along the back wall - the softness is quite sufficient (and in some places even too much). What does the topic starter plan to keep?
Barbara8192
So far, soft corals and a few fish.
George5104
I have no experience with the resin...only based on reviews...But I wrote all this to say that I want to increase the flow in my setup...at least by another 2500 liters.
Judy
I agree with this post and would add a small pump to the stones. I have an aquarium that's a bit larger, with a SunSun JVP-101B (3000 l/h) and a SunSun JVP-102B (5000 l/h), but I have LPS and SPS. Softies are fine for me.
Tina
I have SunSun JVP-101B (3000 l/h) + SunSun JVP-102B (5000 l/h) + 1500 l/h behind the rocks. The softness seems fine. (aquarium 240 l).
