I practiced a bit on a small sea, so to speak, I understood the principle and started thinking about increasing the volume. I would like an aquarium like the one in the link, but this is not the final option; however, I still prefer a corner one. This raises questions about this option, and what concerns me the most is the distortion of the view due to the curved glass. Can anyone offer any advice on this?

Question for Kharkiv residents: who knows where in Kharkiv I can order such a shape of aquarium?

Joseph1346

Aquatica is made in Kharkiv.

The distortion of curved glass is checked in the following way. A sheet of newspaper or magazine is taken and placed on the inside of the curved glass, at a distance of 2-3 cm. If the printed text is distorted, the aquarium is a write-off. On properly curved glass, there will be no distortions noticeable to the eye. Aquatica makes such aquariums. Aquariums with curved glass are called "Oval" and "Corner Oval."

Is it really possible for someone to make a decent lid with built-in light for such an aquarium?

People have another question: is it possible to have an aquarium height of 70 cm with lighting without metal halide lamps?

Jacqueline5976

It depends on what you are planting there. LL recommends a depth of up to 50 cm; it's hard to say about the diodes.

Perhaps, if the focus in this aquarium is on softness, there will be at least 5 T5 lamps.
