I have Batriocladia growing in both the sump and the display. Hipatus is sleeping in it.

I also have Batricladi in my refugium. It handles the task excellently. And I also use it to feed Lisa. It turns out to be 2 in 1: I do the weeding and feed the fish.

Well, why not? Heteromorphs and caulerpa are preferred due to their faster growth rate compared to other macrophytes.

I have a thread+green fluff (20W 6400K) attached to the botryocladia in the SAMPA. Although, there are only a couple of branches of it, the rest is chaetomorpha. In the aquarium, everything is fine - 200W (14000K and actinics), the recovery rate is quite fast. I would put it the other way around - reds are more demanding than greens and browns.
