It looks like Turbinaria sp.

The number of cilia in Turbinaria is much greater. It is confusing that the edges of Montipora curl upwards, while mine does the opposite. Initially, there was a frag - the tip in the center. I glued it to a rock and expected it to start growing around the perimeter, but it began to cover the rock at the point of attachment and overgrew it entirely, creeping onto the lower rock and only slightly growing a canopy in front of the rock.

Kostya, if this is not soft coral, sell me either the piece or a fragment... we will agree on the price.

This is SPS. When it was given, they said Montipora. Well, they haven't even determined what it is yet, and they already want to take it away. It's been living with me for a year, growing slowly, and has grown about four times. Let it grow a bit more, then I'll break a piece off. A local friend gifted it to me, and it was the size of a kopeck. Maybe the owner has a much larger bush.

I think it is indeed a leaf montipora; it might be growing that way because of the current... mine is still small and was growing horizontally, but when it reached a certain point, it started to curl.

Well, from the photos I've seen, the polyps are not very visible, they're quite small, but mine are rather large and clearly visible. As for Montipora, they grow on their own, while mine is crawling on the rock. I also suspect that due to low calcium, it has a not very strong skeleton and seems to be sinking under its own weight onto the rock. It grows in an interesting way. First, the tongue grew to one side, then to the other, and then to a third side. Let's consider it Montipora. I need to buy another frag and compare.

Is your volume not a hindrance for such species? Everywhere they claim that it's not a life for them in such an aquarium, although I've seen many of them in such aquariums online. Could it be because of that?

+10. This is Monty. Moreover, with low light from the blue group of lamps. Either move it higher or increase the actinics.
