Low pH

Aquarium ~500 + sump 100+ aquarium is 9 months old since the first day. The pH is not what I would like, around ~8.05 (plus or minus) during the day, dropping to 7.4 in the morning. I tried using a hose outside for air intake into the skimmer, and in the summer, there are drafts (the aquarium is in the hallway), but nothing changes((( KH/CA is 9/440 (balling method). I attempted to raise pH/KH with SeaBuf, which raised KH to 12+ and pH to 8.1, but after some time, it dropped again. P.S. The light in the sump is on at night/immediately after turning off the display. P.S.S. In the sump, there are live rocks covered with Xenia and Maiana. I understand that I need to raise pH, but how((((

Have we tried cleaning and recalibrating the pH meter/controller electrode?

I am checking in parallel with drip (JBL).

try to switch to a more trustworthy test. the same saliferts, api, elos? there are many complaints about jbl on the internet, we checked it in personal practice.
