• Help understand the graph of Ca and kN.

There is a graph: I don't know who its author is and how accurate it is, but if it is correct, I want to understand the following: Suppose I measure Ca and get a figure of 380 ppm. Yes, that's a bit low. I agree. According to the graph, kH should be 4.2, but the test shows 7. What does this mean? - Should I urgently lower kH to 4.2? - Should I urgently raise Calcium to 410? - Should I urgently raise Ca and kH? - Should I ignore the graph and sleep peacefully, since everything is living and growing anyway? And if Calcium is 500, should I raise kH to 20???

KH below 6 is not allowed. First, ignore the schedule... Raise Ca (with calcium chloride) to 410, while measuring KH every day and maintaining it at 7-8 (with soda) until it levels out. If calcium reaches 500, keep KH at 7-9 with soda; of course, during this time, calcium chloride is not needed until calcium drops to 410. After that, use both... With the current Reef Salts containing elevated calcium levels, it takes about 2-3 months to lower calcium, unless you are growing hard corals. Clarify if needed—I will respond.
