Good day to everyone. I have this system. It's time to change the cartridges, and I also want to replace the membrane and everything else. Can you recommend what is best to fill the cartridges with? Here are the options. Thank you.

It's hard to answer, really. Just tell me how long the osmosis has been in operation, to begin with.

Well, the current TDS doesn't really say much, the osmosis system has been in operation for almost 2.5 - 3 years. The TDS with new cartridges is unknown. Right now, it has "stock" cartridges, which are: Cartridge PP-10 SL Cartridge CWS Cartridge CWS Then there's the membrane, carbon, or mineralizer. So, maybe instead of CWS, I should install either the "Mech. + Aragon 2 + CWS" set, is it worth it? Is it worth paying for the replacement cartridges MMW, Aragon? That's what I wanted to find out. I apologize if I didn't formulate it very clearly.

Does silver in cartridges affect anything? In the description of the Aragon cartridge, there is a statement: As water passes through the Aragon material, the dissolved calcium and magnesium salts change their structure. This process is called "quasi-softening." Is quasi-softening good or bad? It’s like this - It conditions the water well, making it more palatable. It improves color and smell. I think it definitely won't work, am I understanding correctly?

And also, I use osmosis water only for topping up the aquarium. Water changes are done with 0 TDS.

Here is a topic about osmosis, where you will find a lot of useful information. Personally, I have a first cartridge for mechanical filtration, a second one for carbon (but not fine, rather briquetted, so it doesn't clog the membrane with dust), a third one for mechanical filtration (which protects the membrane from dust after the carbon), a fourth membrane, then a tee, one hose for drinking water through coconut carbon, and the second one for refilling the aquarium through ion exchange resins (I got the Marin fauna from A). Cartridges from different manufacturers are mostly standard. So choose based on your budget and preferences!

I read the topic, thank you. In one post, it was mentioned that it is undesirable to purchase cartridges with silver. But that mention didn't go beyond one post. That's why I asked the question here. In general, I won't make anything up, I'll take the standard set and use resin. Thank you all!
